Fountains Guest House  

We recieved a very warm welcome and the owner was able to provide us with some useful local information concerning shops, restaurants etc. The cooked breakfast was first class. It was very well located and it was only a 5 minute walk to the town centre.

If we stayed again we would probably ask not to be allocated the room adjacent to the entrance (although the room itself was fine)

We were very impressed with the quality of the decoration, cleanliness and presentation of The Fountains Guest House. The locality to Harrogate town centre was in walking distance and in easy reach of nice restaurants. The breakfast was excellent and served punctually with beautiful crockery, cutlery, matching tableware and linen napkins. There was ample off road parking in a select and secure location. The proprietors were courteous, charming and very helpful. We will certainly be staying here again.

The location, friendliness/helpfulness of owner's and the price was unbeatable. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending to friends/family and will definitely return again soon.

The perfect place to stay for exploring Harrogate. Elegantly decorated. A warm, welcoming and cosy atmostphere. The rooms were beautifully presented and very comfortable. The staff were made us feel very welcome. I would definately recommend this as a lovely place to stay

Fantastic location - within walking distance of all the attractions in Harrogate. Good price. Lovely breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Spotless. Gorgeous modern room with en suite. Brilliant view from the window. Free on site parking. Tea and coffee facilities with biscuits :) Cannot fault it!!

I really liked the welcome and hospitality. The room was very comfortable and had everything you could want. Breakfast was delicious and the owners very friendly. Can't fault it!

Location was fantastic for conference. Great staff, and lovely accomodation. Great breakfast.

We had a very enjoyable stay at fountains and would certainly book again if we need to visit the area. Our stay was exceptional fromour welcome to when we left with a great breakfast thrown in. I would certainly recommend Fountains to anyone I know wh need accommodation in Harrogate.

I booked this venue by chance as hotels were busy. However, I would certainly recommend this over the local hotels and would prefer to stay here again. Very friendly and a fabulous breakfast - a definite recommendation!!

Pleasant overall, nice couple owners, 10 rooms, all well appointed and with all facilities expected of a city bed and breakfast, convenient to have a few of their own parking spaces in the back yard, good that they cater for triple accommodation. Breakfast decent, and they go out of their way to please.

Nothing really negative about this establishement, lighting in the guest rooms could be improved, either bright ceiling lights or very dim bedside lamps. TV channels also limited.

The hotel was ideally suited, just a few minutes from the centre of Harrogate. The room was clean and tidy and was thoughtfully decorated. My girlfriend and I were made to feel very welcome by the couple running Fountains Guest House and it helped to make our stay more enjoyable. It was an excellent guest house and I left with favourable impressions of both Harrogate and the hotel as a result.

All round stay exellent.
