I had a fantastic stay at the Fountains guest house. I received a warm welcome on arrival. Room was very clean and modern, with excellent 4 star facilities. Food was superb and great choice. Owners very welcoming and excellent service. Would definitely recommend.

Very good hotel , owners Lyndsay and Jon are very welcoming. The bedroom was very clean and spacious, the en-suite was small but very clean with everything you needed including shampoo \ soap etc etc. Breakfast was plentiful and top quality with local yorkshire produce. 5-10 min walk into town no need for taxis. When we are next in Harrogate we will stay here again.

Friendly owners, spacious room, great breakfast. Good luck to the young couple running this quest house, they are making a good job of it so far. Would certainly return again.

The owner of the guest house was very welcoming and friendly. After a late night, the full english breakfast was lovely! We didn't spend much time there but the room was very nice, the beds were comfortable and the location was great. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Very comfortable and well appointed guest house, The ownwers Lindsay and Jon were very friendly and welcoming. Well situated for Harrogate city centre and we would certainly stay there again.

Excellent in all aspects: Very clean with good facilities and tastefully decorated. We were made to feel very welcome. Breakfast was excellent and recomended restaurant for an evening meal was superb! Travelled with a friend but would feel equally relaxed if travelling alone. (I am a 'mature' woman). Car park rather small but car came to no harm parked in lane behind the guest house.

Hard to fault. Clean, modern, spacious room with pleasant view. Delicious breakfast served by courteous staff quickly and efficiently. Good location with easy off the road parking. Coupled with a good price I would recommend The Fountains to anyone. Nothing - even if I was picky.

Breakfast was excellent as was the overall standard of accommodation, proximity to Harrogate shops/cafes etc. The only point I would raise is that the bathroom floor looked a little tired and may be could do with an upgrade, but this is being picky to be honest.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was very small but just perfect, appointed beautifully. My only problem was the stairs, but I realise in a guest house the beds are going to be upstairs. Everything was presented to a very high spec. well done, I have no hesitation in recommending it to my travelling Aussie friends.

Lovely building and excellent service. Great location for train station and town centre/restaurants. Run by a lovely, friendly and helpful young couple. Clean, attractive and spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast. Me and my partner have been twice now and would definitely go again.

We were made very welcome and put at ease as soon as we entered. We stayed 4 nights and were very comfortable throughout the whole stay. Would definately stay again and find it very recommendable.
