In an elegant Georgian town house, just metres from Brighton Pier and Seafront, Five has stylish rooms with free Wi-Fi. The luxury, 4-star hotel offers continental breakfast hampers and sea views.
Score from 142 reviews Very good
Overall impression very good. Good-sized rooms, excellent bed, important details such as free Wi-Fi, tea/coffee-making facilities. Excellent shower
problem of carrying suitcase upstairs. Fortunately we were staying on the 1st Floor.
Ideal location within walking distance of town centre, restaurants, sea front and station. very friendly and helpful. My room was quiet at night too.
Being able to see the sea from our room and being close to the lanes was great we felt welcome and loved our visit
Having to come home
Breakfast was really good, owners were nice.
great room great owners great location
squeaky floorboards kept us up all the time
-staff and their helpfullness - cleanliness - good breakfast - fast Wi-fi
Small cramped room with little space for anything else.
Large and powerful shower. Crispy fresh white sheets. Superb scrambled eggs.
Just a nice friendly and we'll kept Hotel
The breakfast was cool. Continental ++++
The location was very good.
The beds were unfortunately so uncomfortable we got very little sleep both nights and the pillows were so thin we might as well have not had them.
the four seasons is a friendly, ideally positioned b&b with clean and tidy rooms. Helpful staff and a good base for exploring Brighton
Parking is awkward if you needed to use your car during your stay. Better if you can park up and go by foot.
Comfy bed Good location
A clean and fuss-free little hotel that is very close to Brighton Pier and within walking distance of some lovely shops and eateries. There are few staff who are available if you need anything, but they are prompt to accommodate anything you need. Breakfast in the morning is a simple and cosy affair, with fresh croissants made every morning - a small gesture, but great to wake up to. My only recommendation is that if you are travelling alone, spend a bit extra and opt for a larger room, as the room I stayed in was comfy but a bit narrow for my liking.
The only negative was that the Wi-fi in my room on the ground floor was quite spotty, almost to the point where I had to sit near the door in order to get a steady signal.
The room was lovely, very spacious and nicely decorated. The bed was also comfortable. The continental breakfast was a nice touch, especially as it is included at no extra cost.
Very noisy. Not only the sound coming from the streets (which you would expect in Kemp Town), but the sound that came through the (very thin) floor above made it almost impossible to get any sleep or find our stay at all relaxing.
Bed was comfy, friendly, location was good, very clean.
Would have preferred a full English breakfast, rather than Continental
Wifi and location
Where to begin? Size of room Breakfast is poor Bed has no headboard No Fridge No safe storage Bed linen never changed Room was full of dust when we arrived The toilet had a dirty stain at the back that was never cleaned The en-suite is way way way too small This room is not worth the money we paid!
Lovely little en suite bathroom , great location
Room was very small, but it was stated as a small double
It was clean, nice bathroom and loads of hot water. Breakfast was okay.
Small rooms, no comfortable chairs in the bedrooms and no guest sitting room. A small comfortless B&B.
Right in the heart of blackpool friendly couple who were more than helpfully. Very clean.
There wasn't anything I didn't like
Very welcoming and friendly staff, who were very helpful with parking including parking permits. Great location to all amenities with town and sea all within walking distance. Great place would def use again :)
- very nice hospitality - good breakfast - room was very clean - good security of the house - very good location
Wifi was very poor No telephone reception Very bad breakfast Very dark bathroom and I could nit see to shave properly Breakfast time very poor between 9.00am/10.00am. Too early Very small tiny bedroom Could not leave luggage as proprietor said he was going out. Definitely would not stay there in a million years
location isn't too bad
breakfast was just boiled egg, coffee or tea and a croissant...rubbish and it took them ages to bring it out..
Owners very accommodating to guests' needs. Good quality shower and hanging space.
On a hot summer's night when your only ventilation option is an open window, don't expect a decent night's sleep with the all night long squawking of seagulls, and inconsiderately loud staff from a neighbouring business doing stuff in the courtyard at all hours.
The staff were great, always helpful. Location is 5 minutes from the pier, bed was extremely comfortable and loved having fridge in room with complimentary water
Location can be abit noisy on Friday nights
