bed - very thin duvet and when I asked for another one they brought it with a cover I had to put on myself! There was not mattress cover which I consider unhygienic.
Too small room
Attentive staff Ease of check-in/out
WiFi bandwidth is a little restrictive
BEST HOTEL AROUND BAKER STREET STATION. STAFF VERY WELL PREPARED AND WILLING TO HELP. WE LOVED THE WAY THEY SMILE!
Great location and renovated so is like new.
There is no elevator and as we were on the last floor, we had to lug our suitcases up 3 flights of narrow stairs. As much as the staff helps, it is still a long way up.
Breakfast was ok.
Room very small for price paid. And very noisy.
Good value. Good location close to a tube. Staff were friendly. Bed was comfy. Room was very quiet. Clean with lovely hot shower in the morning. I was only using it as a bed for the night so didn't test any other facilities.
Everything about the hotel was fantastic apart from one lady on reception who's mannerisms were quite abrupt and off putting. The staff I met on check out the following morning were very friendly. The room was amazing, much better than some of the mainstream hotels I have stayed in. The shower was excellent. Could not fault anything about the room itself. The bed was comfortable too.
I didn't feel welcomed by her at all. I had requested an early check in but when I arrived at the hotel, I was told that this had been declined as guests had not checked out yet. I was advised I had been emailed the previous day notifying me of this but I am still yet to receive this email. As I was only in London on a lunch date and had to be at lunch before I could check in I was given the only option to use the downstairs toilet to change in, which was no more than 4ft x 6ft but taking into account there was a sink and toilet in the way there wasn't even that much room. Extremely disappointed as this ruined the day for me and the overall experience of first time visiting the hotel.
Unpretentious and clean
Nice hotel very clean and tidy staff excellent
Cozy modern room
No lift available to carry big suitcases
Clean, comfortable and close to Marylebone Station yet easy to reach everywhere we wanted to be. Staff were very pleasant and helpful
Pillows were too fat !
Close to the tube, good neighbourhood
The room was in another building, so I had to cross the street to go to the lobby.
Convenient location, lovely modern room, excellent showers, microwave in the room, free wi fi, very helpful staff.
The first night I spent in a basement room with a very bright security light which stopped me from sleeping. However, the staff organised a change of room the next day.Perfect! The breakfast is not included in the price and the dining room felt a bit soul less but hey ho.... There are loads of places to eat very close by.
the Free wifi was great in performance. The Location was other incredible point... very central, close to the underground and shops... The shower was great also.
the staff is terrible, confused... they do not listen and take care properly of the customer.... I had to walk 3 levels of stairs with 3 heavy suitcases and the staff did not even think (even thought I asked) to put me on a room closer to the street. Besides the fact that they did not know what to charge me, when, how... very inefficient... I lost a lot of time... The room was very very small.... for one night, without any luggage would be perfect... for more than that, not practical.
Love the shower, general facilities
Two night staff ... spotted that I was inebriated and 3 times pestered me in my room between midnight and 0100 trying to say that I owed them a surcharge. I had already tipped them! I impolitely told them to disappear and was charged the correct amount per booking.com.
close to tube, clean and comfortable
The room is too bright
Crossing the road for breakfast and reception
The room facilities
The fact that I was in a basement room facing a wall when I had asked for a room not higher than the 2nd floor !
For a one night stop of to just basically sleep & shower this hotel is perfect. The price on booking.com was fantastic for the added extras you get! It is really close to marylebone station & the club room was a decent size too. Would defenatly recommend this hotel to others.
The beds were a little hard but it wasn't an issue once you were asleep.
Close to the tube Cosy decorated Like renting a room rather than staying in a hotel
Very narrow stairs difficult with big suitcases
Staff were so friendly and the hotel was clean, modern and very welcoming.
Very well appointed, modern room. Excellent value for money.
