Size of the room and bathroom, jacuzzi, heating, view, location, proximity to shops and station, friendliness of the staff, amazing breakfast
Room temperature a bit high, bed was not comfortable at all (too springy) - mattresses need to be changed
Staff reacted to the problem and found me a quieter room.
Original room put in was tired had worn window frames , sound from the street was loud, which was the main issue - which meant 0 sleep. Water was pouring through into the bar area where someone was having a shower and there was a rowdy drunken mob in Friday Night. The car parking around the hotel is a real problem - the hotel car park is inadequate for the number of rooms.
The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. The room was exactly as I requested, with plenty of space, good wifi, and a very comfortable bed. Wonderful shower with plenty of hot water. I was there to do family research: the library is a five minute drive away and the Ceredgion Archives a two minute walk, so very convenient. Must say the breakfasts were fantastic value for money, every choice available and delicious to eat. I can not rate this hotel highly enough.
Nothing- it was all good!
Very pleasant stay liked the room and the location specially liked the private car park facility And I was alowed to book in early. overall would recommend.
Car Parking was limited so would possibly recommend having private car park as a paid extra to garentee reserve space.
The hotel was on an excellent location. The staff were very accommodating. The let down of location was parking facilities we were unable to park in the hotel car park as it only accommodates 5 to 6 cars max. The surrounding parking facilities charge even for disabled drivers and you are limited to 3 hours before cars are clamped. We were very lucky that the council was allowing longer parking times as it was the build up to Christmas shopping but we were aware our car had to be moved by 8.30 am Sunday morning to prevent charges. Also there were minor faults in the room we stayed in, which we reported as soon as we could. The breakfast was excellent the choice was extensive.
The lack of parking spaces at the hotel. The limited time for parking at 3 hours and charges even for disabled drivers. The poor quality of the bedside lamps one which didn't work at all and the other had a faulty electric cable when reported staff didn't appear concerned
Location is good but very noisy . Bed was very uncomfortable.
My key left in an envelope on the counter for my 7.45pm arrival. No staff on the premisies. Bar not open. Restaurant closed. So no food. No means of phoning out. It should say this in the info. That 'out of season', there are no facilities.
Breakfast was good and staff friendly and helpful.
Parking can be a bit of a problem with only short stays allowed on many bays.B
The bathroom window was slightly open and could not be properly closed. This means one ice cold bathroom in December.
breakfast was very good We upgraded our room, so we were at the top of the hotel without a lift stairs a problem for us,
bed was extremely uncomfortable..new mattress need I fear
We had the ground floor room which was excellent for my wife who has mobility problems.
People blocking the entrance to the car park (especially a black BMW).
Good value for money. Clean Rooms. Good breakfasts.
Bar very expensive and draft lager off all of our stay
I really enjoyed staying here and so did the rest of the family :) xx
Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel well positioned, central but quiet. Price was good and facilities were reasonable. Breakfast was more than adequate in a comfortable, pleasant room.
Room was small but not unexpected for a single. Nothing to dislike.
1. The staffs there are very friendly. 2. The room is warm and clean. 3. The breakfast is yummy.
1. The desk is placed at an awkward location. 2. It would be better to replace the traditional British taps with some modern ones.. 3. I have seen a TV in my room. But it is not set up? why?
Good breakfast, nice large room with big bathroom with power shower, great location for sea front, everything within walking distance, pier, train station that includes a wetherspoon pub and a cinema over the road.
Car park is tiny, only enough space for 4 small cars. Pay and display opposite and restricted parking elsewhere.
Sea, railway, walks, castle, helpful taxi drivers.
The space in the family room, value for miney
Room very good Staff very friendly Breakfast very good
Bar shuts at 9.30pm
Great location. Good food
Our bed was not made in the morning. The receptionist did not seem to appreciate my concerns about the staff not doing her job
We liked that the staff were very friendly and helpful we enjoyed the fact it was in walking distance to everything beach sea shops pubs eating houses
The bed was a little uncomfortable and lumpy. slightly noisy out the front make sure room on the back next time
large bedrooms very friendly staff excellent bedrooms
shower and the problem locking the door
Staff very friendly, excellent breakfast. Hotel located very close to town centre and sea front
Standard of room was ok for the cost but pillows were thin and hard and mattress not the best
