Beautiful building. We had a lovely room in the main building with a great view. Rooms and beds are very comfortable. Facilities for our 23 month old were excellent including childens tea which made being away with a little one very easy. We didn't use the crèche but would have done if we'd stayed longer. Baby listening was great as it gives parents the chance for freedom with dinner & a drink. Staff are a pretty young team who try really hard to make things work. Fowey is a lovely little town. Quite pricey. Dinner menu could do with more variety and the mains being bit more generous. The bistro (toad) menu was better sized!

The Fowey Hall hotel was amazing! The staff is attentive, friendly and very helpful. The suite was clean and comfortable every day of our stay. Children are welcome and provided recreational activities indoors and outdoors. Breakfast was wonderful, my girls miss Cherish, the greatest waitress! Overall our stay was amazing in this beautiful former Hanson mansion. Still maintaining it's character and 19th century charm. We will definitely visit again. Dinner menu could have offered different meal options, not as appetizing as we wished for.

Wonderful location and super main hotel building although annexe not so good. Terrific views from the patio. We had a room in the annexe to the hotel and the room was large but had many problems. The bathroom door did not close, the bedside light did not work, there was no luggage rack and the plugs for several appliances were on a floor 4- way extension so to plug in the kettle we had to crawl under the tv unit. These were mentioned to the hotel and they offered a discount but I doubt if the corrected any of these faults.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, we only stayed for one night...this time! We'll be booking for a longer stay next time as there's too much to take in. We had a 6 month old baby with us and he was so well looked after by the most friendly hotel staff I have ever had the joy to meet- despite us not having a chance to use the creche facility! I really can't recommend this hotel enough for anyone in need of what feels like a luxurious grown-up break away from family life, but with the delight of having your family with you (some of the time anyway!). I didn't want to leave! Any very minor problems we had whilst at the hotel were dealt with in the most professional and yet kind, personal and understanding manner.

The location was excellent, the spa was really good, treatments were excellent and so were the staff. The beds were really comfortable and the room sizes were really spacious. Enthusiastic staff. Loved taking the hotel dog, Brambles, for a walk! The staff were all smiles, but felt that the level of service could have been better. Requests made weren't dealt with properly. Poor furniture in guest rooms, wardrobes too small, drawers not shutting, etc.
