Very friendly and welcoming. Lovely big room.
Bed a little lumpy.
malcolm and shirley were kind, pleasant, accommodating hosts. room was wonderful; quiet and comfortable. breakfast was super
Extremely clean and well looked after b&b , with excellent breakfasts. Remote and quiet location.
We had a lovely welcome , the room was excellent very clean and comfortable very high standard of facilities. The breakfast was excellent too.The house is in it's own grounds just outside the town of Millom but perfect for us visiting friends in the area.
Large smart rooms great food served with a smile very relaxing stay. A great location for touring a unique picturesque area. Good Italian "The Davinci" near in Malim !!!8
very good breakfast clean quiet
Fresh milk on hand at all times Lovely grounds around B&B Very friendly owners
Lack of Local Restaurants Wi-fi connection really poor, couldn't get signal on TV either.
We loved our stay at Foxcroft B&B. Shirley and Malcolm manage the 4-room B&B on their own. We had a beautiful big room (room nr. 2), it was renovated shortly (you could still smell the paint a little) and had enough space for dog, a double-bed and two very comfortable chairs. The breakfast was delicious!! Room was very clean! If you want to come with dog this is the right place to stay, it only needs to stay in the car at breakfast time.
The mattress was a little worn out and the internet slow, but anyway you could surf in the room.
Large bedroom, easy to park, great breakfast. Very clean and tidy.
Too far to walk to the pub.
They welcomed the "well behaved" Bichon Frise (dog). Loved the fridge with fresh milk on the landing. The Black Pudding for breakfast. Lovely bedding on a king size bed.
having to go home.
Everything was excellent
Lovely Hosts Shirley and Malcolm very open and extremely friendly, the House itself is Beautiful and the grounds are amazing, the rooms are outstanding and comfortable and Breakfast is too die for, let Shirley make you porridge with milk best ever and if you are having a part English have the fried bread everything is Fabby 10 out of 10 the Hosts and the House have spoiled us for all other Lakeland accommodation and the Foxcroft is now our House of choice it really is spot on.
Owners were flexible, communicative and concerned for well-being of guests and the immediate environment of the property was delightful
Positioning in the surrounding countryside was a little stark
Relaxing and calm surroundings within easy reach of Lake attractions and coastal beauty. Beautiful rooms and friendly hosts.
The host was welcoming, and we had an excellent breakfast. The house is characterful, and the room was very pleasant. There was also a sizeable conservatory available to guests.
A quiet hidden location set amongst well cared for gardens. Ideal for drinking champagne in! The owners were very attentitive and wanted everything perfect for their guests. Which it was. Well cooked breakfast and comfortable bed. Highly recommended.
Nothing it was all good.
We were a little early, and wanted to drop our bags off to go exploring but they still let us check in. Friendly right from the start, even recommended some great places out to eat! Room was lovely and clean, if you have a car it's great because it's not too far away from main towns and attractions! Would come back again! And definitely recommend.
Beautiful rooms, clean and well maintained, friendly owners, breakfast excellent. Overall an exceptional place to stay.
A very friendly atmosphere.Felt like at home.Place unusually clean and comfortable.
No complaints at all.
Room was excellent Gardens beautiful
We were told we had the smallest room- it was big! Very clean, comfortable, a beautiful house, and the owners very helpful and friendly. Surrounded by wonderful scenery and good places to eat nearby(especially the King Billy for brilliant steaks). The full english breakfast was fabulous, freshly cooked and lots of it- a wonderful stay, would definately recommend.
Over bath mixer shower took a little time to adjust to comfortable setting but once sorted was fine. No other problems.
the owners are lovely and friendly, its in a great location nice and quite but only 1/2 hour from conniston etc
A warm welcome at the door, facilities were great and breakfast had everything. Would like to return and explore the local area more, it is more secluded less sight seeing tourists, could be a walkers paradise.
A bit out of the way but not far enough that it should put you off
Very well cooked breakfast. Lovely room. Felt welcome.
Nothing not to like. A handle to assist in getting out of the bath would be helpful.
