Beautiful place, excellent facilities
The self-contained facilities that include jacuzzi and sauna. The centralised heating using underfloor heaters is making the room nice and warm.
The bed in the master bedroom can be improved.
Double bed needs new mattress!
Location, nature were beautiful. Everything was romantic and we were lucky to be alone at the location (there were 2 more cottages next to ours) except for the 1st day. It was therefore very quiet and relaxing.
The deck was slippery. The downstairs bathroom had a very short short shower hose so we had to bend to get a shower. There was also no curtiain and almost the entire bathroom was wet after each shower. One of the chairs at the dining table broke down when my husband sat on it. He fel down but there was no injury. There is a children playing ground in front of the cottages. We were lucky to be the only guests...
This was such a wonderful place, a real home away. Unfortunately we could only stay for one night, but if we had know what Foxglove Cottages had to offer we would have liked to stay for a week. The cottage was quite new a just lovely. Outside are was large and beautiful.
Not being able to stay for much longer.
This is one of the best places we have stayed in Scotland and we have traveled it for over a year now, the man that owns the place is a real gent
The property was really well maintained and location was excellent. Everything was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. It was great having two bathrooms, it really helped with getting ready in the mornings. No traffic noise. Big TV and DVD's if it was raining.
The heat in the house was draining and this was in May. No fans so we were told to open the doors, but when we did, wasps and flies got in and I was bitten by midgies of some sort, my arm is a mess. I wouldn't like to stay here in summer or if I did I would have to bring fans with me.
Lovely peaceful lodge, very comfortable. Ideal for a romantic break

Peaceful only 3 lodges. friendly owner helpful and obliging. A lovely area to relax and still central enough to be in the city both East and West in an hour. Just what we needed. Thank you Booking.com and Thank you Foxglove Cottages.
