This was our second visit to this hotel and on this occasion we stayed for two nights. As on our previous stay we found this hotel to be excellent value for money. Staff where very helpful and pleasant, our room was clean and very comfortable, once again we used the restaurant where we found the food to be very good and the service excellent. The hotel is only a five minute walk to a central line tube station and has good access for a visit to Wembley. With the added bonus of free secure parking and free WIFI, I would definetly recommend this hotel

Great location for Wembley Arena and 5 minute walk to the Central Line. Friendly staff especially the gentleman on night duty who offered advice on places to eat late at night. Will definitely stay at The Fox & Goose Hotel for future London visits.

The hotel was close by to the underground, and despite earlier complaints the Hanger Lane stop does have a sign explaining how to get to this hotel and other popular hotels in the area. Staff was welcoming, they helped us with all our requests, the hotel was clean and comfy. The restaurant/bar serves excellent food at least for our tastes. It is not a high-end gourmet experience, but perfect if you are looking for regular British fare. All-in-all can only recommend.

Nice hotel, very comfortable room. Nice breakfast - although expensive - 10 pounds. The personal doesn't know to give directions. We've spend half an hours looking for the hotel and when we've called the hotel to ask directions, they didn't know to clear us up, although we were only 200 m away. The bar closes at 10 pm in weekend.

The location was perfect for me. The pub was really nice and served good food. The staff were really friendly. Value for money The internal doors slam shut so I kept being woken by other guests returning to their rooms.

The hotel's staff were friendly and helpful and our room was clean and comfortable. The pub which sat in front of our hotel was large, clean and had a lovely atmosphere. The food was extremely good with plenty to choose from. We found it extremely convenient with a bus stop just outside. Our weekend at the fox and goose was extremely pleasurable and we would definitely visit again.

The hotel was very clean which was great. The pub adjacent to it was lovely. We had a deluxe double room and the furnishings were lovely beit the room was on the small side but did see a nomal room and it was bigger but not so plush so depends what you like. Fab location for Wenbley. Room a little small but nice

Despite being on a very busy outer London road the hotel was lovely with a pub patio & garden which was very pleasant to sit in & have a drink & a very nice pub meal. We were not aware of any traffic noise but there was a wedding reception which didn't finish until 1am which was quite noisy. Our double room was very big with a large bathroom too. It was clean & comfortable with a view of the garden. There were complimentary toiletries, tea & coffee, a hair dryer & digital tv. The reception staff were very friendly & helpful, we ordered a newspaper to be delivered to our room in the morning & they also booked a taxi for us to go out in the evening. There was plenty of free car parking. The tube station is a 5 minute walk up the road & the bus that goes to Wembley stops almost outside. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. Free WiFi available. Altogether very impressed with this hotel for a short stay.

A group of my family stayed overnight for a trip to Wembley. We found this hotel to be excellent value for money. The bedrooms where pleasantly furnished, comfortable, clean and fresh. The bar area and restaraunt give the atmosphere of an olde worlde pub which leads out to a delightful beer garden. We took an evening meal at the hotel and found the food and drink to be very acceptable and not over priced. The free secure parking facilities where an added bonus. Unlike some previous comments we had no problem accessing Wembley Stadium. The 83 Bus stops directly outside the hotel and runs at frequent intervals until very late. We opted to walk to the Stadium which is just under two miles away and took 35 mins at an easy pace. We where advised to turn left from the front of the hotel, continue for just over a Mile and then turn right and head to towards the stadium. A 5 minute walk to Hanger Lane tube station situated on the Central Line gives access to Central London. I would have no hesitation to book at this hotel again. There was nothing we did not like about the hotel

What a great place to stay, very friendly, quiet, beds were very comfortable. We felt very much at home there. From metro Hangerlane (central line) was only a 5 to 10 min walk. About 30 min. Ride to central London. A Few stops to portabello road, Notting gate metro From the airport you can take piccadily line but need to change at acton town directly to park royal but it is a 20 to 25 min walk from that metro station. The pub was very cosy, we had lunch we were well attended and food was great. Didn't explore area very much, we did visit one cafe down the street for breakfast it was great. Never knew I would enjoy a coffee made of instant but I loved it and enjoyed full breakfast with fresh homeade bread. We even left a sovenir that was an antique behind, we called hotel as soon as we landed and they sent it to us. We were so impressed and very happy.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The pub restaurant next door served a beautiful meal at night. The staff were very helpful, directing us to the nearby station and the car parking facilities were safe and secure, allowing us to leave our car whilst we travelled into the city.

Very comfortable stay. the room was clean with TV bathroom tea and coffee. The food was well cooked and arrived at the table quickly and hot. the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel dated back to the 1600s and had loads of character and History, there are photos on the bar wall showing the building pre war and before any extentions to the property. It was very interesting. The rooms of the hotel are at the back of the resturant separated by the rear garden, its not a long walk but in bad weather such as snow it would make it difficult to get from A to B. there is an overhead canopy in case of rain but in winter months a short cold trip to eat. I mention this only because I have a condition where I struggle to walk in extreme cold.
