I thought it was a bit over-rated to be honest and I would like it to be a bit warmer and more down to earth. I left my diffuser from my hairdryer behind accidentally and called the following day to see if anything had been handed in. They told me that they would come back to me within 30 minutes and despite repeatedly calling them, they chose to ignore me and when I called again the next day and asked to complain to the Manager, they quickly responded and phoned me back within the hour. Why do people have to resort to drastic measures when paying a lot for service and then be totally ignored. It is not a trainsmash to have to look for something, whether its expensive or not, its about looking after your clients. Because of this matter and the way Foxhills responded, I would think twice about coming back here again. Another point I wish to raise is that when I tried to get through by telephone before I had even checked in, the phone at reception rang and rang and nobody answered it for a very long time - this is totally unacceptable.

Warm friendly staff, luxurious rooms, great dining facilities and wonderful golf courses. Lovely swimming pool and gym.

as being quite difficult and demanding guests, i found your facilities very very accomindating. and would defo come again bravo x

We arrived from airport and it is a really great easy to find location in a very scenic part of Surrey, only minutes from the motorway but really peaceful.

Everything was at an extremely high standard - beautiful manor with fireplaces, lovely room with stunning bathroom, the restaurant and food was amazing, and the gym facilities fantastic. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A very relaxing, refreshing break...

THE HEATING!!! TOO HOT EVERYWHERE!!! Room was so hot we had to sleep with balcony door open.

Friendly atmosphere, great leisure facilities (for adults and children), lovely breakfasts included in the room rate. Tracey on reception was especially helpful when we realised we'd left my sons cuddly toy in the room. It was delivered back to us the very next day. Staff at the spa / children's pool were all very helpful and friendly. Massages were excellent.

Manor restaurant was gorgeous but the food was only average quality and very expensive. Drinks were expensive too. Service charge was added to everything (even though we got drinks from the bar) which meant a "tip" of £60 just for our evening meal. To be fair, when checking out we were able to remove part of this. With regards to the evening meal, the menu was very limited compared to previous visits to Foxhills. Serving sizes varied (beef Wellington was either huge or tiny!), lamb was very fatty and partridge was overlooked. We needed lots of sides of chips as you only got 4 triple cooked chips per serving!! They were very nice however! Service and surroundings were excellent but I'm not sure we'd choise to eat there again.

We were a family group celebrating a special birthday. We had not realized it was necessary to reserve a table in the hotel restaurant for dinner on the night of our stay and the retaurant was fully booked. However when we explained the purpose of our visit the staff in Foxhills ensured we did get a table. The meal was very good. The dining room staff went out of there way to ensure we an enjoyable evening. Ourl accommodation was first class. Some of our party enjoyed the golf facilities and others the beautiful spa. Our 7yr old grandson had plenty of fun in the various swimming pools and in the adventure playground. Our stay in Foxhills was fantastic made special by the friendly and professional staff.

Beautiful scenery and tastefully decorated. Room was fresh looking and bed very comfortable. The facilities for children were well thought out and the swimming pools were a lovely feature.
