The location was fantastic. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. The view was spoilt by the double glazing seel in one of the windows being broken, which caused condensation. The place had a tired look/feel to it. Despite saying at the time of booking that evening meals were available( on our confirmation from booking.com), they were not and we were directed to two eating establishments 3 & 9/10 miles away. There is a lovely cafe at the bottom of the drive, which does meals on a Friday and Saturday night, however we were not informed of this...don't understand why not. The staff at the cafe were fantastic and very welcoming. The price for the accommodation was fine, however the cost of £9.50 each for breakfast would add £20 a day onto your price. Not such a bargain then!! Owners were friendly enough, but didn't feel very welcome. Bed head-board made a noise any time we moved and water pressure in shower wasn't very strong, but plenty of hot water.

Located near the lake and the waterfall. Do not go there!!! Very disappointed from the attitude of the owners!!! We have been driving 9 hours from Holyhead to get to the hotel, also had breakdown of my car and 1 hour before arrival we have realized that we will be late with 15-20 min. After the closing time shown on the reservation (11pm). I've call the reception and explained to them that we will be little bit late because of the problems we had and I asked them to make compromise and wait for us, or to meet somewhere to give us the key for our room. Their answer was no, the lady says - " If you not gonna come in time - better stay where you are" ?!?! Finally 11.15 pm we was in front of the hotel, but there was nobody and we had to sleep in the car... After such long day... And we had to pay for this night as well! The hotel by itself it's ok but with a such attitude to the costumers - do not go there honestly !!!

I stayed for three nights with my wife and and another couple. The House is lovely, very pretty to look at as you approach. The atmosphere is homely and welcoming. Brenda and her husband, the owners, are very friendly and do everything they can to ensure an enjoyable stay. The rooms are beautiful and well equipped with wonderful views over Loch Ness. The breakfast is excellent with a varied and interesting menu. Try the sauteed mushrooms for something a little different ! The house has a roof terrace where you can sit and have a drink in warmer weather. The view is spectacular. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again. A good base for exploring Loch Ness and the Scottish Highlands. There is nothing I disliked about the hotel but would just point out that as no evening meals are served, you will need to make other dining arrangements. There is a lovely pub/restaurant about three miles away called The White something ! The food there is very good.

The location and quietness was good. It is easy to complain but I have to say I was very disappointed with Foyers. It is easy to complain and I give it a lot of thought but we were very disappointed with Foyers. The shower had a very dangerous step into it. The whole place did not give the appearance of being clean, staf were rather scruffy, Don' choose to have the breakfast, it was burnt and swimming in fat - like true Brits we didn't complain at the time. Sorry we won't be back, the only down side to a wonderful 12 break in Scotland

Brenda & Neil we're excellent hosts they couldn't had been more helpful, giving us a map of local walks and letting us know about the local cafe not far from Foyers House where you can get a good breakfast. Accomodation was lovely and had a wonderful view of Loch Ness. We would use this b & b again if we were in the area. Thank you Brenda & Neil for a lovely relaxing weekend. Anth & Chris

The facilities were beautiful and the village of Foyers was amazing! The couple that own and run the Foyers House were fairly rude - she would not let us borrow a fork to eat a dinner we'd brought from the nearby cafe as she did 'not like to encourage visitors to eat there'. Of course, they provide no food themselves and suggest that we only eat at a restaurant three miles away. There were other indications as we wandered the village and chatted with local townspeople that there seem to be conflicts with the owners of Foyers House. I highly recommend the village of Foyers for a holiday - stunning walks and a lovely waterfall - but I do not recommend staying at Foyers House.

Total seclusion with good views over Loch Ness. Excellent walks and within spitting distance to entry to Falls at Foyers. Had to drive 3 miles to nearest restaurant for evening meal. Breakfast was extra and at £11 per person thought this was a bit excessive.

I Think that breakfast should have been included in the price because it was not a cheap b&b/guesthouse comparing to the facilities. Regarding smoking it was ok that it not was alowed in the house but it was not ok that we should go to the end of the road in the rain. He should possible build at place for the smokers outside the house

On arrival I thought we were very isolated and expressed my concerns. I was assured that our stay would be very good and true to their word trips were planned for us for each day of our stay which turned out to be fantastic and very suitable for us. Our visit to Scotland was over ten days and the three nights in foyers were great. Our host was very entertaining and we enjoyed the banter. Thanks for a fab time Tommy and Doreen Moughty Ireland The trip from Fort William was the scariest trip of my life, mind you I dont like heights. My advice would be tell people to go to Inverness first and then back to you!!

Very friendly welcome with good advice on local attractions and further road experience! The location boasts a tranquil setting with a view of Loch Ness! Our room had a view of the loch which was an added bonus!! The one night stay from arriving to leaving was a memorable experience and we will be returning again. Ideal for escaping a busy lifestyle back home! Would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone and we will be going back! Madza mk1 Couple!!

Our host was very welcoming. Everything was acceptable with a good breakfast. For dinner we were directed to a pub a short drive away which served good food. The drive to the hotel was along narrow single track roads with "passing places" which was an experiennce in a large car. But take it steady and all is fine. We had a good time when we stayed and would recommend it.

The view from the room over the lake (Loch Ness) was beautiful. There is a terrace outside where you can eat your meals if weather permits. Plenty of lovely walks around the area. Close to the waterfall.
