The hotel is modern with very nice rooms. The location is perfect, right off the Royal Mile, close to the Castle, shopping and nice views of the city. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only drawback is the restaurant. It is pricey and has a limited selection |

comfortable bed, decent bed linen, great shower and toiletries, handy welcome pack and plush furnishings the hotel was fine but the room was rather small for 2 people (not really a 'suite'), the air con or heating had been left on cold so the room was freezing when we arrived, it took a couple of hours to warm up. |

the room was clean however bed sheets were not changed daily and shower gels etc were scarce. the bed was too small, but other than that we had a lovely stay and i would go back and i would recommend it. |

Lovely quiet room with wonderful view of city. Great location just off Royal Mile and within easy walking distance of all main attractions. A little unsure whether there was facility for room service for breaksfast which would have been great. |

Only a short walk to the important places. Friendly helpful staff. Comfy bed Pity that there isnt a bar open at night in the hotel. |

The hotel room was fantastic,clean and very modern. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The traditional scottish breakfast was first class. A perfect hotel and location for shops and Castle. A little warm at night. |

The Hotel is very comfortable, located in the center of the city with walking distance to many places of interests. My room was very nice and clean. All the facilities meet the requirements of 5 star hotel.The breakfast was very good.I was glad to stay there |

I like the hotel, but hotel staff could be more attentive to their customers. Hotel staff forgot to put tea bags into the room, we were waiting more than an hour to get them, called twice and by the end collected them ourselves. |

The hotel was excellently situated was very clean and furnishings were of a very high standard. The facilities in the room included a microwave and kitchen type sink which was very handy. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The parking was difficult and you had to pay a meter but spaces were very limited. |

Location. Design. Standard of outfit. Luxury Bathroom very very poor cleaning regimes - the matress cover was badly stained & clearly visible through the sheets. Coffee spilled by previous occupant was still on carpet, skirting & walls |

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was perfect, practically on the Royal mile. The rooms were well laid out and nicely decorated. Perfect base to explore the city of Edinburgh. They had not emptied the bin in our room from the previous guests. |

Great location...and very good white-ware provided in the rooms. This hotel is an example of great "hard-ware" but lousy "heart-ware". While the room had great facilities, housekeeping left my bathroom floor covered in mud, and they did not hover the place throughout the duration of my stay (3 nights). |

It is brand new, with perfect location, beautiful rooms, just off the royal mile, within the castle area. There was probably some problem with reservations and gave us a room (junior suite) which was already occupied. Then they gave us the executive suite (at the same price!!!), a perfect room although with no view. |
