Fraser Suites Edinburgh    

Fantastic location. Great comfortable accommodation and the service was faultless. I work for a premium hospitality group and I like and appreciate good service. The Fraser suites in Edinburgh exceeded all my expectations. When I return to melbourne I intend to write a letter to the general manager. I will most definately be returning next year and plan to stay longer in such a great place. Thank you to everyone especially to Shae on front desk and Paul in maintenance who were wonderful. Thank you. You made the stay of myself and my children a time to remember. Look forward to seeing you again next year.

Absolutely nothing. I cannot fault the place. It was fantastic.

The décor was beautiful and the view was amazing.

The sink did not drain well and the toilet had to be flushed several times. The mattress consisted of 2 twins pushed together, making the center seam less than comfortable. The full English breakfast was an exaggeration. The cold food buffet would be more aptly described as a continental breakfast.

Housekeeping on a daily basis: Empty bin in the bathroom, fill up coffee and tea supply in the room, sweep the floor in the room - some days it looks like this was not done

The staff were really welcoming and friendly, it was raining when we arrived so the reception staff offered us umbrellas. Check in was very smooth and we were able to check into our room early as we arrived before we had expected to. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had two lovely nights' sleep during our stay. We stayed in a suite and found the little fridge, freezer and microwave really useful. Overall a wonderful stay in a great city!

The position is great. Just minutes from the Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle. The room was quite good. We were on the 6th floor and were very happy.

The location is excellent. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff was, without exception, welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much, indeed.

Friendly staff

I requested a quiet room away from the elevator shaft and at the end of a corridor. Neither of these requests were properly met. The, rather limited, cold buffet for breakfast was poor value and after paying £200 per night I expected to be offered a cooked breakfast.

Room 101 was below ground level with high cell like windows onto a brick wall. Very depressing. No chance of being moved to a room above ground.

1) Staff (Professional, Polite, Helpful and Courteous ... of course not to forget - very friendly too) 2) Location - There cant be a better hotel than this....superb ! Perfect location - closer to the station. However, you will surely need to take a cab from the Metro to the Hotel (if carrying heavy luggage) 2nd option would be to climb around 108 steps towards the hotel (from the metro station). Taxi would not cost more than 4 Pounds from the train station. 3) Spacious Room, Neat layout, Loved the decor of the room, Bedroom size and also the comfort. Free wifi in the apartment, ipod docking station, heater/cooler, cutlery, microwave....they have taken care of the finest details - hence ensuring comfortable stay

Friendly staff and clean room. Close to bus stop, shopping, pubs, restaurants, and Edinburgh Castle. Railway station is a short taxi ride. Would stay there again.

Location, location, location. In the center of everything. Carefully designed rooms, amenities for coffee, tea and small kitchen facilities in simple room. View from room 511 beatiful. In the center of everything. But the most valuable asset is its personel. Happy, polite and always available to help you stuff.

No English breakfast as booked. They have stopped serving it as they told us.

I loved the quality of bedding and textiles, as well as the space (wardrobe, workspace). I especially appreciated the small kitchen area - it made it very easy to feel at home. Plus, the staff are just genuinely lovely people to deal with and do a wonderful job at keeping the atmosphere warm and upbeat.

I can honestly say there is nothing I wasn't happy with. However, as I know you must always find areas for improvement in these surveys, at a push I can say that the elevator was slow and could be a little frustrating if in a hurry.

Excellent central location only a few steps away from Edinburgh's Royal Mile. Spacious room and quality feel to fixtures and fittings. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Breakfasts were a wee bit disappointing for an establishment of this stature. For example, only a pretty uninspired, 'continental' breakfast was available as they had no chef. That said, service was good from a couple of friendly waitresses.

Location was excellent. Room very clean and comfortable. Good facilities such as a guest laundry and gym. Helpful staff.

Stayed in Fraser Suites with my family over the easter period. Excellent facilities and location- would recommend to anyone travelling to Edinburgh. Will definitely use Fraser Suites again

black furnishings/ furniture...its just not my taste. We did not find the printed guides of the old and new towns until we were leaving, so we read them on the train. They were displayed in a corner of the reception area beyond the coffee machine which we did not see until it was too late. They are well written and informative. Put them on the table by the bookcase??

Loved this hotel. It was my second time staying here and I will be returning. The room and the facilities are impressive and the location is just perfect. The staff are so friendly and accomodating. They had no problem with any concerns we had for them. I stayed with a friend this time but it would also be a lovely hotel to visit with a partner

Excellent friendly staff, brilliant location. Fabulous rooms and an upgrade made our stay extra special. It was relaxing to come back to our accomodation in the evenings and the little kitchenette was a brilliant addition to the room. Comfortable, stylish and close to everything in the city. I would recommend it to anyone thinking about visiting Edinburgh
