I was an early morning leaver so i did not see much but i liked what i did see
Never saw anything i did Not like,it was brill0
Close to the New Town area and quite close to Waverly Station. Great value for money, very courteous and helpful reception staff.
No anti-slip bathmat for using the over-bath shower.
Helpful staff. Quiet and clean.
Great location in the middle of New Town within 10-15 minutes walking distance of Old Town and all its attractions. Nice hotel, large and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and a locked luggage storage room which I found very useful. This hotel is definitely a value for its cost.
Can't think of anything.
very comfortable room with good equipments.
good location, but a bit difficult to find.
-Checked in at 1030am with no problems -Fast Wifi -Great location with tons of restaurants, pubs, and shopping nearby. Short walk to train station and royal mile.
-Room was a bit cold. Had to pull an electric radiator out of the closet to warm up. -Shower water temperature was inconsistent at times. Plenty warm but moments of ice cold water was pretty annoying
The location and they refund us some money without any problem for our disagreement about the bad conditions on the room
There were no hot water in the room and we had to sleep all night with a noise from the ceiling.
Location and breakfast. Only.
The hotel presents itself as a 4-star hotel with a great discount, so that the price seems to be great. It's misleading advertising. It is at most a two star hotel.
everything is perfect
heater only works at a limited time.
Excellent location in the hub of Edinburgh with a really good price,
Location can't be beat for New Town Well furnished en-suite room
Colds showers (boiler broken). They knew the boiler was broken when they took my money, but did not warn me the shower would not be hot! NOT GOOD. Cold room (had to ask for 2 extra heaters). Carpet not clean.
Free wifi, room was spacious
Nothing to dislike about the hotel really. The staff are excellent. Location and price is excellent value for money.
The radiators did not heat up in the night and morning but I called reception and they fixed it within an hour.
Returning from a trip abroad, the Hotel is easily accessed from the airport by tram or bus and was great for getting the train north the next morning.
Loved the big room and supply of towels toiletries . Great location , very central .
Nothing bad at all. Would recommend .
Ideal location just 5 minutes from princes st but still nice and quiet with lovely cafés nearby. Friendly, helpful staff also.
Despite the busy city just out of the doors the hotel itself remained quiet and peaceful. Staff were professional and remained unseen unless needed.
The hotel front didn't do the interior sufficient justice, but that's a minor.
Size of room, comfy bed, perfect room temperature, great power shower, wall mounted TV, tea & coffee selection
No bar No duvet, sheet & blanket not so cosy..odd design of 'quilt' doesn't cover the whole bed, just for show at the bottom half. Had to use spare blanket from cupboard.
Every thing about it
The location is excellent, the main attractions of the city are within a 20-minute walk. We experienced some temporary problems with the heating, but the staff was helpful and they offered a discount for the inconvenience.
The included breakfast is in an outside restaurant (just across the street, so this isn't a real problem).
Not far away from the city center and easy to find a restaurant
No duvet On the day I checked in, the heating system and the hot water were both unavailable and we did not get the information until we went to the reception to ask what was wrong with our room facility. Such information should be told when we checked in and hence we do not need to find another hotel at later than 10pm, even though we were fully refunded.
The location was very good. Just a few minutes from Princess street in the heart of New Town.
The room was small, as was the bed and the window looked into a bunch of ventilation machines which smelled if cooking fat.
Clean, good value, competent staff, free wifi, great location.
View from room could have been better, but for the price was reasonable.
