Nothing really, only that the WiFi access from my room (#45) was not very good

Super location right on the lake. Staff very helpful.

Nighttime plumbing noise from loud guests next door, but there's always someone thoughtless so not hotels fault. But taps in own bathroom unusually loud - pressure too high?

Very professional staff - Matt (Asst Manager) in particular.Tried hard to to accomodate us when there were hot water problems in some rooms

We booked a 3 course dinner on line via Booking.com.In the event t5he dining room is closed on a Sunday and we were offered dining room starters/sweets but bar menue mains.Worse still we had to eat off very low tables in the bar

Location was good for walking. Room was clean

The Hottub/jacuzzi was out of action and had been since November and grout dust from repairs was floating on the surface of the swimming pool if you cuuld call it that as it was very small !!

Exellent position near to the pond beautiful views lovely walks. Very nice evening meal, we had the duck which was very nice. Room was large warm and comfortable, free wifi.

The tip added to the bill. The service was excellent and a tip would most certainly be given. A bit cheeky assuming a tip would be given. Only a small complaint as the rest of the stay was excellent

The food and service were excellant. The room was spacious and clean I thought the price reasonable and would definately stay there again The setting is superb,and ideal for ramblers

There is no lift to the first floor although there is help with your cases if required,but for people who find them difficult I didnt see a chair lift.

State of gym equipment - needed oiling The fact that most staff were foreign - sorry, I don't think I'm a xenophobe, but it made it harder to communicate, and very difficult to crack jokes. Extractor fan in bathroom not working.

There could have been better heating (or insulation) in the garden suites. We had to keep the heating on all night to keep warm which made for a very dry atmosphere.

Location is lovely for walking and visiting local area. Service was good, friendly staff. Very nice breakfast and I had room service meals which were good (except for a burnt burger bun).

Room was just standard, good size bed but not very comfortable. Room was too warm, even with heater turned off and a cold wind blowing outside.

I liked the location and the friendliness of the stuff

I didn't like the fact that when I booked the hotel for a colleague and myself during the booking process at no time it was mentioned that the total value would be taken from my credit card. Only when I received the confirmation email I have seen it. Also during our stay the bar stuff have mixed up our room bills and we had to sort them upon return to our home base. We have ordered food on Thursday night and had to remind the bar stuff about or order where we have discovered that the order has not even been taken to the kitchen yet. The reception was not able to give us 2 separate bills for the Hotel costs so that we could claim the costs with our separate budget points. On Thursday morning when I wanted to take a shower I saw some hair in the batch tub, not mine obviously as it was longer than mine and I didn't have a shower yet. Nice hotel, friendly stuff, will I stay again, for sure not.
