The lady on checkin on the wed night was fantastic, always smiling and so nice to go with it... Just wish I took her name.. It started with an I???? And had 5 letters in it and she was not from the uk.. Sorry!! Lol.... But if she lived colser to me I would take her on with my company stright away.. Dont offten get that service.... And many thanks to her.. So Well, I went to dinner at 7.45 in the bar to be told there was a 2 hour wait for food!!!!!!! I then asked, ok I will go to the restaurant!!! For then to be told they used the same kitchen and it would take the same time!!!! The couple to my left said they had been waiting for over an hour for food!!! So after two pints I had to drive around trying to find somewhere to eat!!! This is the first time I have ever had to do this... I was not happy eating in a local carvery!!!!! Not happy at all....

Good location for our needs. Quiet. Clean rooms Staff need more training in customer service & communication E.g we had informed reception that some members of our party would arrive late evening (23.00). When they arrived different reception team were very unwelcoming and made them feel a nuisance. Breakfast ( which is very overpriced) staff on 1st day were v unfriendly especially towards younger (20s) party members.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower worked well with plenty of hot water. The hotel entrance was difficult to find. I arrived by car at 8 pm. It was dark. The signage on all the boards with directions for car parking and reception etc were very difficult to read, and the small directional arrows supposedely showing guests where to go were actually impossible to read in that light, and I had difficulty working out where to drive and park my car. Very artistic signs, but the arrows were useless for directions at night. The restaurant menu pricing structure is too complicated to read easily, and too concerned with extra costs for small side dishes. I gave up and left the restaurant, and had dinner in the bar. Only cable-connected internet access is advertised as being available in the hotel. How do I download and send my business emails from my iPhone and iPad with no wi-fi in the room? The room I stayed in ( No. 20) was too small and cramped for double occupancy, everything is jammed in and it was difficult to move around between the furniture. There is only really enough space for one person to use the room in comfort. The small desk and low chair height make it difficult to work at a laptop for more than a few minutes.

It was very quiet and relaxing and the lady that gave me my treatment at the Spa was amazing. Really nice start to the day. I noticed a heavy line of dust on the TV cabinet which I showed my husband. The bathroom grouting was starting to look tiired and one of the tiles had come of the wall and been filled in with grout. The meal was ok and the service was great to start with but as the evening went on and it became busier they forgot all about us and my husband had to ask for the desert menu. My breakfast was very cold and again my husband ask for it to be taken away and replaced. The eggs were terrible and I wasn't the only person to comment, even my husband was disappointed. For the cost of the hotel and drinks our all around experience was poor. We endded up going to another hotel to meet with famil and found that the food and experience was all together a more pleasurable experience.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was nice, if a little small. The bathroom was lovely with fantastic shower. The pool was nice, but again, small. The grounds were attractive. The breakfast included in the price was good, with lots of healthy choices in the buffet. We didn't have the cooked breakfast, but it looked very good. The 'spa area' around the pool had very few sun loungers, which were taken over by a group of women who were on some sort of spa day. The changing rooms in the spa were small and overcrowded. The sauna was tiny. We didn't use the relaxation room as there were so many people using the facilities. It was a nice hotel with pool, but definately wouldn't call it a spa hotel at all. We ate in Camberley because the food was very expensive in the hotel, but we did have a drink in the hotel bar, which was friendly enough.

The room was very nice and well equipped with tea & coffee making essentials together with hair dryer, iron & ironing board, shoe cleaning & bathroom toiletries. The restuarant dinner menu was superb and the food cooked to perfection. The restuarant staff were very attentive and extremely helpful. The breakfast menu sounded very good but did not come up to expectations or description when delivered to table.

Doggie friendly! This was our primary reason for choosing the hotel but we were pleasantly surprised on all levels once we arrived. Unusually late check in. We do stay at a lot of hotels and check in "from" 2pm (ie could be any time) is unusual.

I thought the service was fine and the room suffered for having to have the sofabed up which my granddaughter thought was uncomfortable. I did not like that there was a service charge added to every bill. Service should be discretionary. They may have just as well stuck 12% onthe prices in the first place. I thought the restaurant was not an award winning place. Merely adequate.

It seemed a very efficiently run hotel, the staff were very pleasant. Continental breakfast also very good WC cistern handle was broken when we wished to use the WC. Therefore we had to use the public facilities in the common areas of the hotel which was inconvenient in the extreme. Later, we managed to flush the WC slowly using the shower head.

It was convenient to travel to from our home in London, and the setting was lovely, especially at this time of year with all of the autumal trees. The pool and sauna/steam area was very nicely laid out, with the pool being a very good size for swimming. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice and the waiting staff had excellent people skills, being both professional and cheerful. The steam room could have done to be warmer - although the sauna was of a really good temperature. It would be helpful to have more seating around the pool area as the weekend we went there were a number of other customers who had booked a "spa weekend" and were all plotted about reading their "Hello" magazines and doing very little else - but this is just a minor grumble!

Nice setting. Good leisure facilies. Helpful staff. The night receptionist assisted us with our cases to our upper floor bedroom. We understand that the house is a listed building and although this retains the original charm etc. it curtails some changes that the hotel would normally make, e.g the addition of a lift to the upper floors. We were in a pleasant room, although we found the bed itself a little small, on an upper floor and although the night receptionist carried our cases, we could have done without walking up those extra stairs on already tired legs after a long day. At breakfast (which was of a good standard) a waitress very politely advised each table that the continental buffet would be cleared away soon after 9.30 a.m. We felt this was a minor harrassment and not conducive to a leisurely visit. We had finshed our breakfast and it was of no direct inconvenience to us, but other guests arrived later, and it would potentially inconvenience them. We reported this to the front desk/ duty manager and he assured us that all buffet arrangements were to remain displayed untill the last guest had vacated the dining room, and he would instruct the restaurant staff accordingly.
