Very friendly and accomodating. Lovely breakfast and customer friendly. I travelled there on a motorcycle tour of Wales and arrived soggy. I was made very welcome and helped by the owners.

Lovely old country house just outsideBala with stunning views over the town and lake. We had stayed at a hotel in the high street before which was quite noisy. It was well worth a short walk(10 mins from town centre) to enjoy a very peaceful nights sleep. Veronica and Paul were great hosts and nothing was too much trouble . The room was lovely and comfortable and breakfast was excellent.

Internet service is very poor in the area(especially on Orange) however it was actually a pleasant change to have a weekend break from the internet

We found the hotel very comfortable, beautifully furnished, best breakfast ever, (accompanied by soft restful music). Paul and Veronica were supurb hosts, friendly, informative and with an often lacking trait of attention to detail. We will hopefully return in the near future.

After the owner's initial surprise of two "oldies" arriving on a motorcycle, we were made to feel very welcome. The room we were allocated had a wonderful view over Bala and its lake, and was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast the following morning was excellent, with a good selection of cereal and fresh fruit, followed by an excellently prepared "full English" cooked breakfast.

We were disappointed to find that the heating was switched off overnight, and did not come back on until 7.30 am. As it had been a very cold night, the room took a while to reach an acceptable temperature.

The stff were very friendly. The room was very comfortable. Convenient location.

The location was beautiful, the service we had was above and beyond what was expected. Breakfast was catered for all our needs we were made to feel at home.

Parking a little tight but not really a problem

Friendly staff, very helpful. Room was very clean and extremely comfortable.

Would have liked a shower as well as a bath (there was a shower head mixer attachment) but this is of no real significance.

My single room was a bit small, but had everything I required so no real complaints, limited parking.

The location was great for a walk into town of an evening as well as a great base for Snowdon climb. Breakfast was very good and very relaxed.

Veronica & Paul have set the bar for quality, friendliness and a commitment to provide a memorable stay for their guests. They even went the extra mile to provide my brother who is a vegan with a wonderful breakfast which is not the norm. We're looking forward to a speedy return to this excellent home and meeting up with Veronica & Paul.
