It was found that the breakfast offering wasn't in line with our expectations for the price paid. i.e. the Bacon and Sausage were basic in my opinion. However, we could have gone to local pub and paid £2 or £3 less per person. Also, there was a wait to get the food and it might be assumed the canteen was understaffed. The service was great and the staff friendly regardless.
Staff were friendly and approachable. They were pleasant throughout our stay
The ambience of the place was lacking... a bit soulless
excellent rooms and service
Staff could not have been more charming or helpful and excellent value for money
Very little choice of food for breakfast. Not value for money.
Pillows were very hard
Good size room / bathroom Very clean
Not really anything big but the breakfast buffet represented value if you wanted the works but £9.50 is a lot if you just want 2 weatabix
Spacious rooms plenty of parking helpful staff.
The staff in the breakfast room was unprofessional and unfriendly. Our booking confirmation said that breakfast was included. Tge staff kept consisting that we have to pay for it. Misunderstandings happen, but the hotel must handle it pfofessionally and in a frienfly manner. So when it turns out that the guest was right they do not have to appoligise 100 times. However, breakfast was very good. We had a suit which was huge and very comfortable. The hotel is not in the centre of the city so we used our car to drive downtown.
phone between rooms not working
Large twin beds
Breakfast is a bit pricey.
Friendly staff and very helpful.
One pillow that looked like a dishcloth. Showed to management and they seemed to think that as bedding was not ironed it was ok. It was not ok - it looked like it had been used!

Location for the Moor. Friendly staff, clean rooms. Easy car parking. Good compared got Premier Inn.
Spacious quiet rooms
It's a little out of town but it's very much worth it. The staff are friendly, the food is lovely and the bed is so comfy you won't want to leave it!
The staff were always very helpful and polite, particularly in the restaurant. The evening food is good with the early bird special quite good value. The room was clean and spacious. There is ample free parking.
In the right location for me. Easy to find and helpful staff.
Spacious room with plenty of storage. The complimentary bottle of water was very welcome. The towels were super soft and all the toiletries supplied were much appreciated. Wonderful!
Did not use the facilities as we were out fot the night, but room, staff and Breakfast were great
The WiFi coverage wasn't great and it required some insisting to get them to reset their Access Point controller to regain access to the network. The staff was insisting that I should only need to reboot my phone (and my tablet and my PC, and my colleague's as well) as the problem should then go away. Of course it wouldn't, and when they restarted their end, it all sprung back to life. The restaurant was utterly poor. Clueless staff, providing bad service, including bring a somewhat expensive bottle of wine to the table, already open, and not even giving us glasses to start with. Asked for a jug of water, twice, and when I asked about why it was taking so long, got a response "I've asked for it, but I don't work at the bar..." almost as if the demarcation of a counter prevents anyone from grabbing the jug and filling it up, to prevent a wait of almost 15 minutes for something this trivial! The food, oh the food... Do not eat there! Just don't. I won't bother you with details other than, it was just bad, very bad. Boiled everything, drenched in flavoured sauces, overcooked, or ready-made tasting (cup-a-soup risotto, anyone?). Avoid at all costs - and that includes the breakfast - just use McDonalds across the street.
The bed was very good, although the synthetic sheets always leave something to be desired. The room was clean, as was the modern bathroom. Amenities were also take care of nicely.
Ability to get late food or even a bar snack - or bites !
