The room was excellent. Very comfortable & spotlessly clean. Bathroom is the best ive found in a hotel room.
The size of the suite was great for our family. Plenty of room for 2 adults, and 2 young children. We've been before and will return.
Size of the room Helpful staff
The restaurant was a bit expensive
Good value for b&b Large bedrooms Comfortable beds Nice food Friendly staff
Bar was a bit expensive
Fitness room totally inadequate & some equipment not working. Restaurant food very poor & over priced. Staff although nice , lacked organisation.
There was nothing to not like .
We liked the warmth of the room, the heated towel rail, comfortable beds and the opportunity to have good breakfast on site. The 2 lifts were excellent. Also, we liked the quiet room
Sometimes the key card did not open the door,
the hotel as a whole very friendly staff and easy parking I was able to leave my car at the hotel and catch a bus to watch my team play . We would both stay again easy access and cheaper then others we have stayed at
I found the pillows a bit hard but that's just me
Arrived very late (after midnight) and the Receptionist was bright and cheerful. Our room had two big beds in and we both slept so well - no noise at all. Breakfast the next morning - cheerful staff and a choice of the usual cooked breakfast - I would have liked to have known that you could order other coffee (e.g latte) as I saw someone have this but there wasn't anything saying you could do this.
Friends bar staff, free wifi
Woke at 1am, coach sat with engine running for 1 hour outside reception.
Nice modern hotel.with good facilities..easy to find ..good parking
Arrived at 9-35pm ..to have to ask the kitchen would hey serve us??..sit at a table ..sorry you will have to move its set for breakfast..finish a snacky meal to be asked can you move I need to set up for breakfast?? Customer service a big fat zero..
Large room Clean Loads of plug sockets Free wifi Staff on arrival and housekeeping excellent
Breakfast hideous. Everything from the cooked buffet I left because they tasted awful, so tried toast and marmalade but the marmalade was so nasty it made my mouth tingle. Even the tea cup smelt musty!
booking easy, room good size, polite staff. Had olives and bread and glass of wine all very nice. Except tinned olives get the ones in oil they taste so much nicer. The staff also got the chef to split the oils and balsamic vinegar in to two pots not the one as be for. Wine was lovely.
big well lit room idea for writting reports. comfortable bed.
Eggs over cooked
Clean and comfortable
The food was not great for 2 out of 3 night stay
Suite was very spacious, comfortable and clean. Good location for exploring the surrounding countryside, and only a short drive form the city.
Although the food in the restaurant was reasonable quality and value, the service was very slow, with clearly insufficient staff on duty when busy. Room service was also very disappointing, having waited 70 minutes for two pizzas, only to find that when they arrived they were clearly 'shop bought' and NOT freshly made.
liked all and everything, especially all the staff, who were accommodating and very kind.
the iocation was good 10 mins to city centre and main shopping area
going to breakfast and being told we had to pay 9-50 each when on the booking form breakfast was included
Clean and tidy
The restaurant food wasn't very nice at all . The pillows were like sleeping with your head on a boulder .
Good room size and clean rooms. Handy if you need to go the Derriford quickly. Probably does good conferences.
Breakfast not worth the money and the restaurant description of "Authentic Flavours of the South West" is misleading marketing as restaurant serves food that is not overly healthy or of high quality which is a shame as there are no other local options without going back into Plymouth. One of my evenings, the hotel could not offer me a table despite being resident so I had to get a takeaway.
Restaurant service was very slow. Even though the restaurant was virtually empty.
Great place to stay. Good breakfast. Does what it says on the tin. Friendly staff
the room was very nice and i loved the mattress however on my initial booking via the internet i asked for a bottle of wine to be placed in my room and this was not done sad as this was my wedding night
I did not like the noise from the air conditioning, the light shineing under the door and the pillows were very hard.
Check in lady very rude, abrupt and in compassionate to guest error, I had lost my card I use to make payments, would not allow me to check in without card, understand Company policy's I work for Mitchell's and Butlers, but on occasions when mistakes are made, you need to be a bit more rule bending and caring to guests. Bathroom was dirty, pubic hair in bath and stuck to walls, coffee mugs dirty ring inside. I have taken photo to post on trip advisor and facebook
