I went to Bognor specifically to meet up with relatives but still feel it is a good location for a day visit/short stay or full holiday.
My stay was only 2 days but The Aldwick bed and breakfast accommodation was superb and I enjoyed dinner at the nearby Navigator Hotel one night too.
There is also the option for day visits to Butlins resort with its abundance of facilities for families. In addition there are very many varied attractions close by.
It seems easy to get around Bognor, with its buses and promenade train but I do not know if the latter runs all year!

We were in the village of Felpham just to the east of Bognor. As such we did not go into Bognor other than to shop on the outskirts. It has a Butlins but we were surprised at the low noise level. We did drive along the prom and it looked good.

My trip to Bognor was golf-related.
My trip to Bognor was golf-related. Unfortunately, the weather was overcast, showery and windy so not showing the town or the seafront at its best. There is a nice long walk along the promenade and a few fun things to do around the pier area like crazy golf. Hotham Park is definitely worth a visit and the cafe there is really nice and serves excellent food. The town was clean with lots of pubs, cafes and restaurants. We had an excellent meal at The Mezze - and would recommend it. However, like all seaside towns it need warm sunny weather to show it at its best.

Nice short break.
Nice short break. Some people might say Bognor Regis is old fashioned or dead or boring, but its fine for a short break and thats part of its charm. Make sure to visit the excellent free museum if into that sort of thing.

Didn't find a lot to do there, the beach was huge, a walk along the promenade took us past what I think was the Butlin's location and a walk into the town at that point of the evening revealed a few eateries but basically a closed town centre. Not a lot to do as far as I could tell, but as were only there for an overnight pit-stop, we didn't miss much. Ate at the 359 restaurant which seemed to be busier with Just Eats rather than people eating out, but the Balkan food was lovely, the staff polite and attentive. Would like to visit there again. Fair to say we had a cloudy and blustery evening to contend with so wasn't a joyous walk along the promenade I had planned but we've seen Bognor Regis, sadly I see little reason to return to it.
Beautiful hotel with a great lawn, close to the pier and everything in central Bognor Regis. Right on the sea front. Staff are friendly and welcoming, hotel has a pleasant bar and seating area, and overall a nice place to stay despite a few rough edges. Room was clean, nicely decorated and felt good quality for the money paid.
Everything spot on brilliant host very friendly, spotless and extremely clean ,very welcoming , nothing in the rooms missed everything you can think of that you need if something went wrong is there. I stay in hotels and guest houses all over the uk and this place would rate in my top .
Deborah was a very welcoming host. The room was immaculate with great decor and attention to detail. The beds were very comfortable. The gardens are kept to a very high standard and the pool was nice and clean and warm!!! Great location fot Bognor and the surrounding areas.
Room was clean, recently decorated, airy and had everything required. Nice to have a sort of entrance area with bedroom and en-suite off of it, providing extra privacy. Great view down the length of the pretty seafront.
Secure. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Very good location, and parking permit provided for your stay. Good cleanliness, comfy beds. Fan provided, plus iron/board, Small hanging area for clothes. Nice tea/coffee making facilities, plus a fridge with breakfast ingredients and a breakfast basket.
The room we had was a small twin with shower facility. We decided that we wanted to eat dinner each night at the hotel and apart from the Sunday night we were generally happy with the meal selection. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.
The location was excellent as I travel into Bognor Regis by train and this hotel was very close to the station. I enjoyed staying in the room as there was a lot of light coming into the room and the bed was very comfortable.
The breakfast was good, a little confusing as we thought on the first morning we couldn't have continental items as it said they were available 7-7.30 turned out we could order them anyway. The hotels position is excellent.
A superb, tranquil but beautiful bed n breakfast tucked away on the edge of Bognor Regis . We loved the room, the pool area, the large bath and the owner host , Debbie , was absolutely lovely.
The location was perfect as it was close to the university in Bognor Regis. The facilities were clean and comfortable, the bed was really nice and the view from the window was gorgeous.

Amazing outdoor space like a little heaven
I also loved the decoration
