I thought the atmosphere at this hotel was very relaxing. The staff could not have been any nicer and the food was lovely too. The room was very spacious and had absolutely everything you could want, V.comfortable surroundings.

The restaurant staff were very friendly and efficient. I was not too impressed with the reception staff. Even though I had booked online several weeks before, they didn't seem to have a room ready for us. We did get a room but this was only after one receptionist asked the other if she had a room available. The receptionist also wrongly assumed I was travelling on business (with a party of five!) even though I had mentioned that we were there to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary on the booking (no mention of the anniversary either). Another thing that I didn't like was the fact that I could hear the snoring of a fellow resident (very loudly!) which would suggest that the walls were paper thin.

Nice rooms comfy beds flat screen tv good rooms very nice freshly made breakfast excellent food in restaurants served on hot plates !! slightly expensive drinks

Location I wasnt told that there was a special deal for locals, half price in the restaurant so consequently very busy.

The staff were very helpful and the function we attended - ruby wedding- was very well served by staff. The fact we were allocated a disabled room without requested it and as we are both tall - my husband is 6 foot 3. - we found it quite uncomfortable - especially the sink being so low. Also there was only one electrical point apart from the telly point and this was very inconvenient since we had two mobiles to charge. When I complained just before our departure the Receptionist whilst apologetic did not give us a reasonable excuse - we were not late in checking in - around 3pm so felt that it should have been the last ones to check in allocated these rooms and there were a number of people behind us checking in. We will therefore not co sider staying in your hotel again even although this was not our first time and your staff are very nice.

I have stayed at Gailes on 3 occasions now and look forward to staying again. Staff are lovely, very helpful. Food excellent and very reasonable. Rooms are bright and spacious and well presented Beds although huge are quite hard and uncomfartable
