We had a nice meal and relaxing time in the bar before attending a conference the following day. This was an ideal venue for the conference and really well organised. Tea, coffee, lunch etc arranged by the hotel was also very good.

This is our second trip to this hotel. We really enjoyed a weekend in December and decided to go again for Valentines day. The staff are very helpful and pleasant and our room has been lovely on both visits....with the added bonus of a smoking room!!!!!! The food is fabulous and we ate in the restaurant for every meal.....great choice and food was delicious. would recommend this hotel. Although bed was huge it was very hard and quite uncomfortable.

First class service from all the staff from booking in at reception to the waitresses and bar staff throughout the Hotel. Lovely double room and a beautiful evening meal followed by a huge breakfast the following morning made it a very enjoyable break.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was large and clean. The hotel was modern and well placed for my requirements. The bathroom was clean very well equipped. The room had a large flat screen tv and came with welcoming fruit and bottled water. The restaurant let the hotel down as the quality of the food was poor. My evening meal was so dissappointing that I passed on a cooked breakfast in the morning. The restaurant staff were very friendly and helpfull but the food was not as good as it could have been. Breakfast was not well organised and I was pleased that I had opted for the continental breakfast. Based on my stay I would recomend the hotel but not the restaurant!!

The hotel was excellent in every way. Stayed one night for a friend's wedding and would happily have stayed longer if I could have. Staff were excellent and very helpful, the food was superb (esp breakfast.....). The location of the hotel is excellent and very very easy to find. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again....... Oh and the price of £59 for the room was outstanding - the room was amazing.
