Welcoming hosts who had put a lot of care into making sure there was everything that you could possibly need to enjoy your stay. Small touches and attention to detail were everywhere. Breakfast was locally sourced, and bird food was put out so you could watch coal tits and nuthatches enjoy breakfast while you eat yours and there were complimentary slippers to help you relax and enjoy your stay. The en suite room was finished to a high standard, and with everything you could need provided for you.
robert a lynne so welcoming a helpful. beautiful place to stay. breakfast was an experience was like being on honeymoon treated so well, thank you so much
W loved the decor of the house. Rob and Lynne were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent. Will definitely return.
Location is beautiful overlooking the river. The decor is very sophisticated and the owners are attentive without being overbearing. Nothing is too much trouble. The home made chocolate came was gorgeous.
Can't think of anything!
Little touches that you won't find elsewhere. A warm welcome from excellent hosts.
From the moment we arrived we were absolutely bowled over and vowed to return. Everything about Hendy Felin was incredible. Having only paid just under £100 for the night for both of us including breakfast, I must confess I was apprehensive. Neither of us had ever stayed in a B&B and were concerned about whether it would be 'our thing', we are 23 and 30 respectively. It turned out we needn't have fretted at all. The price wasn't a reflection of a lower standard in the slightest but instead simply incredible value. The view from the room in which we stayed was breath taking, full of trees, a beautiful stream leading to a river and lots of wildlife. The room itself was decorated as if from a Next Home catalogue, stylish and modern. Everything had been thought of. We were fortunate enough to stay in a room with a bath- the biggest and most comfortable bath we have ever had the pleasure of bathing in. The underfloor heating was a massive win! The room and facilities had the feel of a boutique hotel, even slippers were provided. Having expected to be confined to our room, we were very impressed by the guest areas and made the most by enjoying a couple of drinks on the outside patio overlooking the river. Another brilliant hidden surprise was the remains of a slate church and graveyard hidden amongst the woodland, all part of the Hendy Finlin estate. The owners were absolutely lovely. They were extremely helpful and attentive but didn't in any way encroach upon our stay. We're quite private people and liked to be left to our own devices which was very much the case. Still, no request was a problem, they were entirely obliging. Breakfast was delicious and aplenty, a large full cooked breakfast (or similar alternative) was on offer alongside fruit cereals and yoghurts. Couldn't have been better, all top quality ingredients.
Unique location but within easy distance of all the attractions. Helpful staff. Rooms were lovely and lots of nice touches. Lovely setting, good that only two rooms are let so it's not too busy.
From the moment we arrived (late evening) we were made to feel so welcome. Lynne and Robert are genuinely lovely people who clearly care about making everyone's stay a wonderful experience. Their B and B is absolutely beautiful and everything is top of the range. The little extras make such a difference and to come back on Friday after 3 of us climbing Snowdon, to hot drinks, home made chocolate cake and a genuine interest in how our day had gone was really appreciated. Hendy Felin is wonderful as are Lynne and Robert; we could not have asked for more. We are currently making plans to return and are looking forward to it already. Thank you so much, Vicky, Chris, Kim and Stu, and of course a massive thank you from Sherpa Daz x
What was there not to like.
The owners were very welcoming and made us feel at home instantly. The small details, such as the sweeties in the jar, coffee machine, slippers and toiletries made it feel really luxurious. The location was superb for Zip World, with stunning views of the waterfall and river. The bed was really comfortable, it was the best night's sleep I've had for weeks. The breakfast was cooked to perfection, with a lovely, runny poached egg, just as it should be!
There was nothing we didn't like about this B&B, it was exactly what my husband and I were after for our wedding anniversary getaway.
Wonderful B&B in a beautiful location. My boyfriend and I spent 5 nights in the waterfall room. The room was so comfortable we could have spent our whole holiday in it! Robert and Lynne are a lovely, friendly, couple ensuring we always had everything we needed and more. I would highly recommend Hendy Felin and we do hope to go back!
The views from the room were wonderful, beautifully styled and well equiped with our very own coffee maker and an assortment of teas to suit anyone who stays. Hospitality from the moment we arrived was spot on, freshly baked chocolate cake and hot drinks, great after a long journey. room. Ideally located for sightseeing. Lots of info about where to go and what to see. Host extremely helpful also. The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in!
Staff were friendly. Decor was impeccable. Very clean. Lovely little touches throughout. Wonderful breakfast. Bed was extremely comfortable. Bath was large, can easily accommodate two people.

Robert and Lynne wete delightful
Signage was tricky from one side.
idyllic location by river and waterfall warm welcome delicious breakfast comfortable bed, spacious bathroom much to see and to do in the area
Terrific hosts and excellent quality of room, food and service. My husband and I had a great time!
Generally a lovely place to stay. Good location if going to Zip World. Snowdon not too far. lovely room, cosy bed. Not much more than your own room to use, small sofa near stairs to sit on. That's about it. Lovely views and very relaxing. Did feel at times like we were imposing when asking for odd bits here and there. Quite small and compact inside, however rom is generally a good size.
Was not able to invite a mobile beautician over for hair and make up as I was celebrating my partners birthday. Something to do with 'policy' etc. That's all fine and well, however, I did feel slightly uncomfortable in the way in which the message was delivered to me. No mini bar facilities or ice when asked. Felt like we were being an inconvenience once again when asking to change time of taxi pick up.
the hosts were very welcoming and the breakfasts excellent. bedrooms spacious and with very comfortable beds.
location is a bit "out of town" so you need to drive every time you go out.
Beautiful B&B. Warm and friendly hosts. Fantastic breakfast with plenty of choice. Loved the relax atmosphere. Ideally located for coastal and Snowdon. Weather exceptional.
Everything. It is perfect and idyllic. We had the waterfall room and I could have sat in the armchairs in the window watching the wildlife and the waterfall for our entire trip. The breakfast was beautiful and Robert and Lynne cannot do enough for you. We felt totally at ease. will definitely go again. We want to keep it a secret.
How could you dislike anything!!!!!!!!!!!
The warm friendly welcome and the little extras in our room which added to the pleasure of our stay. The quality of food was excellent.
We were overwhelmed about the hearty welcome by Lynne. She served us coffee and biscuits and gave us a lot of information. The Hendy Felin is located in a very nice and quiet surrounding. You only hear the sound of the birds and the waterfall. The whole interior is very modern and stylish and the whole place is very well looked after. Our room and the bathroom were spacious and equipped with everything you could think of. Robert served us a delicious breakfast and we had some nice chats with him and Lynne. The Hendy Felin is absolutely recommendable!
We were sad that we could not stay another night.
