Nice comfortable room with excellent beds, very good dinner in the wine bar.

Very mean breakfast, if you wanted something cooked it was an extra £5 each.

Turned up 15 mins before the end of breakfast, no/poor selection of food left. Could have had a cooked breakfast for a further £5 but this was not offered

Very friendly welcome. Cosy, traditional decor and good food. Wonderful room. We felt it was home from home. They let us use the car park when we checked out while we explored Llangollen. Great place!

Lovely old hotel with very comfortable accommodation and very friendly staff. Perfect location for hill walking and centrally located in an historic town. Excellent food in the hotels bistro.

Breakfast not good.

No lounge or anywhere to wait for friends to come down, sit and read, etc. Restaurant / Bar seats are just plain wood, no cushions or padding at all.

Freindly Staff and centre of town Bedroom quite larg and quiet

Grubby bathroom and shower was very difficult to control, changing from hot to cold and then to a dribble.

Very nice large room and bathroom; hotel conveniently located on a quiet street in the town centre. Hearty English breakfast and an excellent evening meal in the well-regarded wine bar downstairs. This has been a family-run restaurant-with-rooms for 38 years and everyone is friendly and helpful.

Excellent location

Fantastic location in the centre of Llangollen town. Very comfortable rooms, towels changed daily, good toiletries supplied. Ample tea/coffee making facilitiy. Ample storage space, very comfortable bed and nice cotton bedding. Restaurant in wine bar was friendly, 'buzzing vibe' on Saturday night. Good choice of interesting food, had rib-eye steak which was cooked to perfection and absoloutely delicious. Ample continental breakfast included in room cost, large cooked breakfast for extra charge. Owners and staff very friendly and accommodating with information on local area. Would have no hesitation in recommending to others

Potentially nice bar/restaurant; but was not open on the day of our visit.

Shower faulty - hose not connected to shower head; TV did not work, had to retune and then only 2 channels available; complimentary port decanter empty, still had dirty glasses from previous occupants
