Tne receptionist was a charming person, but the rest of the stay let us down

Lots, the only other staff we met was the barman who really could not be bothered with antthing in fact he was rude. The hotel was gruby and very shabby. The air con did not work there was a damp patch in the ceiling, the curtains would not close poperly, it was just shabby and dated.

Central location, 5 minutes walk from the South Kensington underground station, friendly staff

The total tranquility although still in a busy part of London

We choose the hotel for the location, a concert in the nearby Royal Albert Hall.

The staff was barely speaking English (Russian or similar), Hotel was not clean, the carpets, and rooms seemed to be renovated the last time in the 19th century, there was bad smell of humidity all over.

Staff was very friendly and hospitable.

Bedcover and carpets were a little old and stained.

the atmoshere of the hotel was good, excellent position just a short walk to the tube station

Calmness

Not having a proper desk and chair in my room

The room that we had was brilliant.It was warm and corfortable and there was plenty of space.

The staff was friendly and helpful. They were quick to provide us with things we needed during out stay. They were also very professional. The room was comfortable but very small.

There was no air conditioning in the public areas of the hotel. A small room air conditioner was provided in the room although we had to vent it to the outside ourselves and had trouble keeping the hose in the window. The room service menu seemed adequate but when we ordered found that they only had limited choices as they were out of certain items.

The staff tried to help as best they could. The hotel was close to where I needed to be.

The staff were preoccupied by payment. They obviously had bitter experiences and were worried that I might be the next bandit to leave without payment.
