Very nice location, quiet elegant street, close to Portobello Road ( lots of art & antique stores and antique market in the morning, lots of quite nice restaurants nearby, walking distance to the Kensington Garden park. The hotel is quite small, but they tried to make it cozy. Cute small garden in front of the hotel, and nice small tea/coffee room looking at nice, small back garden. Price way too high for what you get. Basically you get a very narrow and simple room. The toilet is very small and at the verge of being uncomfortable to use. The receptionist girl (from eastern Europe) did not really tried to be nice & friendly . The breakfast was Spartan and located in a small room in the basement of the hotel. The breakfast was served by a bunch of loud speaking eastern Europe (Polish/ Slovak?) women, basically killing the all London atmosphere of the place.

I thought everything was fine - especially the breakfast of muesli and yogurt. I didn't like its position in Bayswater because I always had to change trains on the underground to get where I wished to go!

The hotel had an elegance about it. The receptionist was very polite and efficient. A lovely little room on the first floor. I will stay here again.

The hotel has a perfect location, safe neighborhood, real close to queens bay underground station. The house was really nice, the rooms were clean and big enough for four in the family room. I missed nice pillows and a duvet. We had spent two weeks in the uk and everywhere they had really lovely bedding - the Garden Court had only a sheet with a wool blanket (which I'm sure doesn't get washed every time, so I prefer a duvet with cover). Other than that it was great. No parking but at queens bay there is a garage for 24£ a day. Breakfast room was a bit lousy, very tight seating.

We had a lovely view of a really nice garden with a big window. Heating was turned up full blast. Expensive for two nights.

The location was great, 5 min to the tube. We stayed in a triple room which was large enough. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The room was a bit cold, we asked for extra blankets but it was still cold.

Excellent value for money, excellent location (5 minute walk to underground station), safe and very nice neighbourhood, proper breakfast (included), all in all a very good deal, I enjoyed it, especially the upper floor room overviewing the little street park.

It was nicely decorated and had a homey feel to it. The staff was friendly. The room was quite small and the price for the room was a bit high. Its location near Portobello Market was great The size of the room and the price was too high for the type of room we had.

The hotel was excellent value for money in a prime location. It was extremely well looked after and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. I was able to leave my bags there all day after I checked out. They very kindly upgraded my room from non ensuite to one with, at no extra cost. The room was small (but this is common for a single) which would probably bother some people but I was more than happy. As a base for exploring it was ideal. I like a firm matress so found the bed very comfortable, a second pillow would have been nice though. Overall a very enjoyable stay. I wouldn't definitely book this hotel again for a trip to London. Thanks to all at Garden Court Hotel. Maybe better quality towels and a second pillow. Maybe tea/coffee facilities in the room?

A straightforward hotel, with good but basic facilities at the right price in fabulous Bayswater. I have stayed at the Garden Court about 40 times over the last 25 years. The hotel has slowly improved in comport and facilities and is now just right for a short business trip.

Location: near shopping, lots of restaurants, and the underground, on a relatively (for London) quiet square in a busy area. 24 hour coffee/tea service, or the necessary equipment in the room, would have been nice.

This hotel is very well situated near Watersbay (Circle and District line). Very silent and quiet. It’s looks like a family hotel or a b&b with a “british touch”. The room is correct, with a real 2 personns-bed and a real third adult-bed. Tea in a small library room in self service is a "+" The bathroom is not great but is enough and correct. The staff is helpful. The breakfirst is good, the quantity is ok, but the choise is a little beat too narrow (despite you can have beacon and eggs but not include in the price)

“Its a nice comfortable hotel in an excellent area. The room was spotless, cleaned everyday. We had a double room and it was a good enough size considering its a London hotel where rooms tend to be small. The bathroom had a great shower, quite big and perfect water pressure. I'd definately pick this hotel to stay in again.” Bridget, Athlone |
