Good location -- very close to Queensway and Bayswater Tube stations, walking distance of Hyde Park, bus lines. Many restaurants available just a short walk away, plus several pubs. Also, some decent shopping from a recently opened shopping center. Hotel was quiet, nicely appointed and comfortable. Offered DIY hot beverage service during off-breakfast hours. Good value for the money in an expensive city. Minor things: Sash-type window in our room was very loose in frame -- rattled with the wind. Wedging some folded paper in the frame kept the window quiet. Breakfast area roomy enough (holds 34 people, I counted chairs), but food was mediocre. Skinny white or brown (wouldn't really call it whole wheat) toast. However, more was readily supplied upon request. Tea, coffee, juice, apples, bananas, yogurts and cereal. Adding rolls or muffins would have been nice. More substantial fare, like bacon and eggs, cost extra, and once we smelled the bacon burning, this wasn't an appetizing option.

Is clean. Is quiet. It is exactly what you can hope for for this price (if only the wi-fi was working. The Wi-Fi was not working and the only staff member, at reception, was unable to assist. I therefore had to use my 3g (on roaming) for emails.

A straightforward hotel, with good but basic facilities at the right price in fabulous Bayswater. I have stayed at the Garden Court about 40 times over the last 25 years. The hotel has slowly improved in comport and facilities and is now just right for a short business trip.

The hotel is a short walk from the tube station at Bayswater. The room was clean and of adequate size (I had an en suite single). There were no tea/coffee making facilities in my room, but the hotel provided a lounge downstairs with a selection of complimentary teas and coffee. The breakfast room was a rather 'no frills' affair, but the breakfast was adequate. I'm glad to have found this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is good located and quiet. Price and quality are fair. In room 504 is was not possible to open the window for getting fresh air. The climate on hot days in this room under the roof is bad. In the shower a handle would be a great advantage. In the bathroom are missing possibilties to hang the towels.

Very competent, friendly, and nice front desk staff, computer with Internet available in lobby, books to read, decent breakfast included, and luggage storage available. I felt like I was staying in a residential neighborhood although restaurants, shopping, and bus lines were only 1 block away, with tube 2 blocks away. Area is safe for single women travelers. I have now stayed there 3 different times. There is not a bathroom on each floor for rooms without a bathroom. Some adjacent neighbors stay up late talking loudly on their porch, so I had to close my windows.

Very pleasant staff at reception and at breakfast. Lovely rooms including garden and lounge areas. Excellent location. Breakfast was just right for me, very good value for a single room and continental breakfast at £50. I'll definitely stay here again and recommend it Bedroom small but you expect this in London esp for a single room.

The room was very spacious and clean. The hotel staff were not the friendliest we have come across as in previous B&B's/Hotels and we would have appreciated a little more attention to customer service with a smile, instead of us needing to make all the effort.

Quiet surrounding. Near tube station, shops and restaurants. Very spartan room with low quality furniture. No safe in the room. Quadruple room too small for 4 persons.

The location was great, 5 min to the tube. We stayed in a triple room which was large enough. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The room was a bit cold, we asked for extra blankets but it was still cold.

Excellent value for money, excellent location (5 minute walk to underground station), safe and very nice neighbourhood, proper breakfast (included), all in all a very good deal, I enjoyed it, especially the upper floor room overviewing the little street park.

The hotel was excellent value for money in a prime location. It was extremely well looked after and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. I was able to leave my bags there all day after I checked out. They very kindly upgraded my room from non ensuite to one with, at no extra cost. The room was small (but this is common for a single) which would probably bother some people but I was more than happy. As a base for exploring it was ideal. I like a firm matress so found the bed very comfortable, a second pillow would have been nice though. Overall a very enjoyable stay. I wouldn't definitely book this hotel again for a trip to London. Thanks to all at Garden Court Hotel. Maybe better quality towels and a second pillow. Maybe tea/coffee facilities in the room?

The hotel has a couple of cosy rooms on the ground floor with old couches and some books where you can relax with a cup of tea. Location was excellent for exploration of Nottingham Hill and its excellent portobello market. Toilet and shower were horribly small and the position of the toilet paper behind the toilet is only good if you are well-trained in yoga.

Location: near shopping, lots of restaurants, and the underground, on a relatively (for London) quiet square in a busy area. 24 hour coffee/tea service, or the necessary equipment in the room, would have been nice.

This hotel is very well situated near Watersbay (Circle and District line). Very silent and quiet. It’s looks like a family hotel or a b&b with a “british touch”. The room is correct, with a real 2 personns-bed and a real third adult-bed. Tea in a small library room in self service is a "+" The bathroom is not great but is enough and correct. The staff is helpful. The breakfirst is good, the quantity is ok, but the choise is a little beat too narrow (despite you can have beacon and eggs but not include in the price)
