Staff extremely kind and helpful. Cleanliness. Very good location.
Exceptionally helpful friendly staff, cleanliness, convenience.
Location - close to Bayswater tube and shops; good value; clean and comfortable; good continental breakfast.
Tea and coffee only available at reception.
Ideal location for Bayswater and Notting Hill
The room and bathroom were very clean - the double room was an excellent size. Helpful hotel staff.
The bed was supposed to be double but was twin pushed together with no mattress topper and 2x single duvets. Was supposed to be sorted out but wasn't. The outside lights are very VERY bright and the gap around the curtain made it still feel like daytime. Even though there were problems my previous stays have been good, so I would still book again.
Hotel is well placed for Central London. Clean, warm and comfortable. Did exactly what it said on the tin. Good weekend rate. I'd book again.
friendly helpful staff
couldn't keep street light out of the room. Continental breakfast fairly poor.
It was just great! The rooms were so clean, comfy and warm. Breakfast was typical continental, but included in price, which was great. The location of the hotel is amazing! There's a street full of restaurants, souvenir shops, stores etc. There is also a Queensway stop near, just 5 min walk. I'll surely book this place next time I'm in London!
Friendly, helpful staff. Good (inclusive) breakfast. Handy location. Nicely presented lobby and main areas. Good free coffee.
Uncomfortable bed with one very thin pillow. Someone else's hair & fluff stuck to the fabric headboard. Poor Wi-Fi (didn't work well half the time). Excessive noise (talking / footsteps) from the room above. General shabbiness of the room.
Basic hotel at a good price
Good location and transport links. Friendly staff. Clean and quite cosy. Free wi-fi available. No meal option means that continental (that is not cooked meal) breakfast is included. Lots of cafes nearby.
Location Quietness Room Beds
Staff need a personality Staff need to communicate Just a hello would be nice No tea and coffee facilities in room.
The staff were excellent.I got what I paid for.A cheap cost for a wee room as long as its clean which it was is what I'm after.I was given toast and tea for breakfast even though I thought it was not included. The location was central and 3 mins wall to an underground
My bed had not head board which might not have been a prob if it was not also on wheels. An extra pillow as standard would have been good.Despite this I would definately return to this hotel.
I stayed in January and I liked that the heating was on all the time (its very warm) and the shower was hot and very good, though the shower cubicle in my room very small. I stayed in the cheapest and smallest room. I got a very good discount. Had I paid any more for it I would have been very disappointed but if you want cheap central accommodation and are not concerned with luxury, this is good. It seemed safe and was not noisy. Very close to Bayswater tube and if you need the central line Queensway tube is not far either. Lots of shops and restaurants near by.
The cold water tap in the room could not be turned on (I presumed this was deliberate as staff recommended not drinking water from the taps in the room). There are no tea making facilities in the room. You have to go to the reception area to make tea. The continental breakfast offered was cornflakes, rice crispies, apples or bananas and maybe I saw some slices of bread. I thought this was very poor.
The location was good (about 5mins walk from Bayswater station),a lot of amenities nearby i.e. a mall, restaurants (Halal too!!), shops and just 10mins walk to Kensington Park The staff were friendly and very helpful (available almost 24hours), the breakfast area at the basement was kinda small but warm and cozy (the "breakfast ladies" were friendly too!) We stayed at the top floor (since its a 3beds room).Large enough to occupy us and our luggages. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to London
No complaints. It's not a 5-star establishment so don't expect 5-star facilities. IT IS DEFINITELY VALUE FOR MONEY :-)
I stayed at the 4th floor and the lift wasn't working.
Location is excellent - just around the corner from Bayswater station, and a pleasant walk through Kensington Park to Oxford Street. Lots of shops and places to eat immediately around. Given the location this is good value for money although the room was small. Staff were friendly.
There are no coffee-making facilities in the rooms. An extra pillow on the single bed and some coat hooks on the doors would be nice. The sound proofing is not great. However, for the budget price it remains very good.
Good location, close to a tube station, a Tesco Express, some pharmacies and stores. Comfortable beds, clean rooms and toilets. Very kind staff always helping. The breakfast was very good too! I'll recommend it 100%.
Sadly the elevator wasn't working and we were in the last floor (too many stairs). Im sure that's one in a lifetime problem. Although the staff were very thoughtful with all the guest helping everyone to carry luggages and all their stuff.
Nothing much! Just a roof over our head!
The male receptionist was more occupied with what he was doing than checking us in! Generally the reception staff were not very pleasant but breakfast room staff were efficient and quite pleasant. Lift was out of order so had to lug our luggage two floors up - both in and out of hotel!
The location and the breakfast were really good.
There was nothing I did not like.
- location - room size is not bad regarding the rest of any room in any other hotel
- very hot in the hotel and you cant turn it off as its central heating - unfriendly help desk agents as they don't care about you specially the girl on the morning shift with yellow hair , she didn't wan to help at all
For the small price you pay, you get an adequate service and perfect location. Everything in hotel is very simple, room is small. For breakfast you get fruit, yogourt, toast, cheese, jam, cornflakes, juice which is really enough. The room is warm. If you are going to do more sightseeing than staying at the hotel, it's a good choice.
Very close to city Clean and comfortable room helpful staff
very cold tap water bad winter heating
