Score from 985 reviews Very good
perfect location calm and quiet place with all the necessary stuff you can get from the nearby shops. very good connectivity with the tubes. enjoyed my stay.
Good size room (I had a triple room) Good location - close enough to amenities but far enough away to be a quiet spot Clean
location, clean, adequate
Staff not friendly or welcoming. No kettle ta/coffee in room just in unwelcoming reception area. Lift didnt work on second day - we were on fourth floor. Souless place.
The location is excellent. The staff were very nice.
The room (802) was horrid and unsafe. If there was a fire, there was no exit. It had been turned into a closet sized "private" toilet for the room. The bed was made daily and towels changed, but no other cleaning occurred. There was a toe/fingernail in between the sheet and mattress I found 2nd day in. I asked, the first day to be moved, but they said they were fully booked. According to booking.com they weren't fully booked though. The staff was nice, but entirely unhelpful. I would never stay there again.
Everything was very good (except the elevator)
The elevator wasn't working and my room was in 5th floor! It was supposed to be working in 1h but didn't work for the 2 days I was there.
Location was good. Room tidy and spacious.
Elevator not working. I had to carry three heavy suitcases up narrow staircase to 4th floor room. Could hear upstairs guests walking around room.
Location, friendly staff, decor in most areas good.
Room was small and unwelcoming, with a bathroom and toilet next door that was a 'private bathroom', but still had to leave my room to nip next door to use it
We were given the room which we did not book to and we had a sleepless night I ever had in my life because of the bed bugs, the sheets were full of blood. When we call the following morning, they came to see the evidence, they agree for a refund but never did. After two weeks I had to travel back to London for my refund but still they only pay back £20 for a refund which was supposed to be £50.00 They are disgusting people.
Free coffee and Nice staff.
Dirty showers, slow water, funny smell. Almost non-excisting breakfast.
friendly clean good location
very basic small room no kettle moderate breakfast
The room and bathroom was extremely small :(
Clean, good location, excellent value, quiet area
Room was tiny
Room was modern and nice. AC in room. TV etc.
Breakfast was poor - anything cooked included extra charge. Toilet was outside or room. Not enough blankets.
I loved how when I booked two different types of rooms one after the other, the were on the same floor and next to each other. And when I had to check out of the first room the receptionist called me to tell me it's 11 and it's time to go (which I had forgotten about). And she gave me my time to pack and gave me the keys for the new room so I can move my stuff from the old room before I gave her back the keys for the old room.
Location is very close to Bayswater station in a calm place with a variety of resturants and supermarkets around. clean rooms, and nice small bathroom. I had initial problems when I was late in transit travel so, I called the hotel to inform them that I will come the next day morning and asked not to cancell booking, I discovered next day that they cancelled my booking due to miscommunication between staff, but when I talked to them they managed to regain my booking with the same price and upgraded my room to double instead of single, so thank you for you co-operation
The staff are not wellcomming to dealing with, compared to other places that I stayed in. breakfast is limited to toast, corn flakes juice chease and jam overall the stay was sufficient for my needs and the disadvantages are not distressing to disturb my stay.
The single bed room was a bt small. I don't generally have a problem with this, but it was awkward getting to bathroom around the bed. The bed was on wheels and would slide away from wall if I sat leaning against wall.
good situated, quiet area, nice restaurants around, tube close
basement room was cold and unfriendly, the bathroom is far to small, very basic breakfast
-beautiful old building in a rich neighborhood -lots and lots of different restaurants -very good relation of price/service -very kind staff -connections to district and central line around the corner
French Receptionist was lovely, very helpful.
Check in time is late - but staff were accomodating
The hotel's situated in a great quiet location. You got a free continental breakfast which was standard and the staff were friendly enough. The beds were extremely comfy and had a great sleep.
The rooms were a bit worn and could of done with a lick of paint but apart from that I had no issues staying here
Great location, easy access to the tube. If you are looking for a fair priced nights accommodation in London with no frills this is suitable.
You can hear footsteps from above, luckily they settled and we could sleep. If you are heading to Paddington Stn for the Heathrow connect train the hotel suggested 10 min walk, it actually takes 20 min.
This hotel is located in the city center near Hyde Park, which is very comfortable for a tourists. It is very clean hotel.
We booked room with three separate beds and received the room with one small and one double bed and personal could not do anything with it, just said that they have only one room with three separate beds and who comes first he will get that room.
Excellent location, the room was quiet, with garden view and new facilities.
I was offered to sign a check-in form filled-in with personal details of another guest, with a room number assigned to it. When I spotted the mistake, the reaction of the receptionist was "I know what happened, they changed the room" and she handed me another form with my details and manually corrected room number to the same which I saw on the first form. Then we found out that the room was not fully serviced: there was only one towel for double room, no toiletries, hair in the bathroom and on the sheets. One couldn't fully open the door of the bathroom because of the very narrow gap between the bed and the bathroom.
Great location, very central but our room (504) was very quiet, no street noise at all. Room was good - fairly basic, but everything you would need. Comfy beds Everything was very clean. Staff extremely welcoming & friendly
Room was hot and window only opened a little ( for safety reasons understandably as was on 5th floor) A little bit more choice for breakfast would have been nice.
The location. The facilities are rather basic but they are quite value for money (wifi and breakfast included)
