Friendly, helpful staff, comfy bed, modern, clean room. Brilliant location close to Bayswater tube and within walking distance of a range of restaurants, shops and Portobello Road.
Room a little small, no mirror in the room itself. Bathroom very small with few shelves on which to put toiletry items. Applying make up and drying hair had to be done in here due to absence of mirror in the room.
basic but very friendly and great value for money
Location and breakfast
Location 5-10 mins walk radius to Bayswater and Queensway underground station, Malaysian Hall for Mslaysian halal food, Hyde Park. Breakfast was decently nice. Bathroom for my triple room was rather small.
Good location Clean, friendly Air con in room A single room was available
Noisy Would have been far too hot without air con Unusual separate W/C
The hotel was clean and the proximity to Bus stops was great. I was also glad Nandos was down the street from the hotel :-)
The breakfast was poor! Same old menu every other day.
Great location, easy to find. Nice quiet area not to far from two tube stations which can pretty much get you anywhere you want to go.
The heat of the rooms. I know it was november but we turned the radiator off had the window open and a fan going full blast all day and night and still couldn't cool the room. Very hard to sleep in that kind of heat would assume the hotel knew of this previously as thay had fans already in the rooms
Central London for £49 Sunday night seemed very good value. Staff were always very helpful.
Nothing Bad. Great place.
it was the cheapest room i could find...
I was in a room in the basement, next to the kitchen, it got smelly in my room and noisy early morning because of the people preparing the breakfast.
great location . pay and display parking outside, clean, small room but will use again,
Quiet location but close to transport, shops, restaurants etc. Chose it as a budget option for 2 nights and was pleasantly surprised. Owners have thought things through well. Receptionists friendly and helpful. Will certainly look to stay there again, if need accommodation in central London.
Would expect a few things to be better if it was a 4 star hotel (eg range of choice at breakfast, lack of coffee making in room), but they aren't charging 4 star prices!
The location, helpfulness and friendliness of staff
Very small room, but for 1 night only it was fine.
Great location, connection WiFi and facilities provided. Also, a breakfast is included with the hotel price which is reasonable (only cold breakfast).
Heater cannot be regulated so it's kinda hot keeping the heater turned on the whole day.
Hotel was cheap and well located. Very pleasant staff at reception
The Garden Court Hotel is a truly "feel at home" place. The staff are friendly, helpful, and the facilities are lovely. I will when back in London, stay there again, and again. Thank you everyone, for making me feel so at home.
There was nothing, that I did not like. Thank you.
The staff who were all very good. Coffee in reception was excellent. The room we had on the second floor was very good value.
There was nothing we could fault for the money we paid.
Our room was nicely renovated, quiet, clean, enough spacious. Good beds. Breakfast basic but okay. Lavazza coffee machine across the lobby at guests use free of charge which was nice bonus. Will come again.
Smokers at the door including some of personnel. Get across the street, there´s a park.
No air-con, must not choose this hotel during summer time. No refrigerator, and the facility is quite old. Not worth to pay .
location: close to the tube (well connected with the heart of London)
price: overpriced for what we got.
Very close to two tube stations.
This property has been reconfigured since the last time we were there. Now instead of 40 rooms, there are 60, so you can imagine the size of each room. Most uncomfortable at such a small size and not a hotel I would come back to, even though the staff is great. Breakfast only fair. Carole, Seattle.
Location! And small garden in front of hotel. Few min from 2 tube stations, from Hide park, a lot of places to eat, souvenir shops r open till almost 11 pm. Sainsbury's Local and a lot of other small shops. Relatively quiet place taking into account how noisy Central London is. Hotel has lift!!!!!! Its great)) Staff is very friendly. Room is small, but has a desk and a chair, that's ok for 1 person.
Wifi slow and not reliable, it didnt work one evening during 1 hour. I managed to register on iPad, but couldnt connect my mobile Sumsung, I tried different e-mailboxes, I tried the same login as for iPad, I tried everyth, it didnt work, and girl on reception told me that people often have such problems. So, I couldnt run few applications to contact my friends via mobile. It was a big inconvenience for me. Single Room 332. Tiny bathroom, is probably a champion along all I have ever had in London (I stayed in many cheap hotels with good review rating). Looks like a cubicle for ships. Very small and difficult to use. No tea-coffee facilities in a room (( Floors are so creaky... Thanks to hotel guests upstairs - they were very quiet)) Not that cheap for me, probably because my stay was the same week as Remembrance Day...
clean and near shops friendly guy staff at reception
a bit poor wifi, tiny shower room,no tea pot in the room.
Very clean, spacious room for the price, quiet, nice staff (specially Ruben), small fridge with drinks to purchase at the front desk, free coffee.
Wi-fi is very, very slow and unreliable, bed could be a tad better.
I didn't stay here because a member of staff phoned me for card details, I was not prepared to give these over the phone so he cancelled my booking. Naturally the hotel denied this.
