The location is superb, and within the hotel very clean. Old building which they keep in tact on a high valuable way. Room was comfortable and I felt very good during my stay. Will book again when a discount rate is available

I know the original price was £59 for a single night, and to be honest - no need to ask excessive amounts for a bed and some instant coffee bags. Was comfortable my stay, that for sure

The hotel is located right in the center of Manchester, very nice personnel, very nice & homey single room and quiet

The bed was uncomfortable - I felt the springs, heard the elevator - but that wasn't too bad

Central location, Value for Money Rooms and Beds generally comfortable.

Staff's attitude was mixed, some were more friendly than others particularly at reception. The shower in my room has spring and a leak and in spite of me asking for it to be fixed no-one came.

Location is great - just a few minutes on foot from Piccadilly Railway Station and Arndale Shopping Sentre.

I wish I'd had a bit cleaner room.

My room didn't have enough lighting unfortunately. Just 2 lamps (and the bathroom light.) Thought it may have been a bit pricey for the quality of room. But many thanks indeed.

Location is excellent just in the heart of the city. Short walk for example to Piccadilly Station.

This hotel certainly needs a facelift. My small room was unclean, could even say filthy, there were all kind of stains and also holes on the walls. Practically no privacy because of the thin walls and the noices from the hallway (door slamming, running etc.). If you are a light sleeper, earplugs are needed. Unfortunately no value for money.

really close to manchester arena and both train stations close to the arndale centre too. most staff are friendly the rooms are comfortable. breakfast is highly recommended.

Brilliant central location. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were good size and clean and comfortable. The location of this hotel is perfect for shopping bars and restaurants.

A bit noisy as room located at rear if hotel on 2nd floor and outside noise from road sweepers etc could be heard

The room was warm all the time... Staff was very nice. Bathroom is big, shower is really good. Location is great!

The windows in the room didn't open at all! Dark, it had no spotlight! Only two lampshades. For me it was not a good value for the money... It wasn't cheap, I thought it was more confortable for the price. I didn't mind about the old and bare decoration, but too much money for what you have. And 8 pounds extra for a breakfast not included...

Room 312 in need of a spring clean. A large cobweb on the ceiling and dust on the wall near the bed and on the bedhead removed by us with a damp tissue. Chose to contain this problem ourselves because of allergy to housemite.
