I liked the convenient position of the hotel for the shops and nightlife. There wasn't enough lighting in the room. The gardens sign outside the hotel isn't that noticeable. |

Pretty central location, once I found it. Its all rather dated inside. And the room was poorly lit. And it was hard to find based on google maps on my smartphone. And the sign outside doesn't work, and I could hardly tell it was the correct hotel from afar. My vision isn't too hot... |

very central and within walking distance of shops and Evening News arena Outside impression poor. Very tired looking. Inside a bit drab but fairly clean and comfortable. Window view awful but not an issue as well covered with curtains. Window sills dirty. No noise despite being so central. |

Excellent value for money, centrally situated. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice room, with more space than is usually offered for a single room. Although there was a menu in the room for food, room service was not available on any of the nights I stayed. |

The frindly and organised staff helped a lot. The hotel was very warm as it does not have airconditioning in many areas - including the bedrooms. |

Room very comfortable and clean. Central location. Helpful reception staff. There was a terrible smell in the first floor corridor. And the first set of steps into hotel had no bannister, which made life alittle difficult for me as I have arthritis. |

I like the location of the hotel and the reception staff were lovely. The room was adequate for an overnight stay, it was clean and comfortable and suited our needs. I like that the staff were there if needed but didnt bother us at all. I didnt like the cost of food in the hotel (there are lots of nice places to eat nearby), I was nearly run over by the laundry man with a trolley piled high with bags of laundry on the morning we left and he was quite rude. However for an overnight stay this hotel was adequate its just a shame that the website we booked it on led us to expect much much more! |
