Staff were very nice and helpful. Hotel was basic (it is a budget hotel) but relatively well kept if a bit tired in places. Location was great, you could not be more central. Room meet expectations given the price (421) a bit tired looking but absolutely fine for one or two nights. Bathroom could do with an update but had a good shower. Room had poor electric lighting, only 2 desk lights and no light in the ceiling.

Brilliance of staff - eg placing us on the same floor; allowing check- in early.... The heat of room 107....needs airconditioning.

Location was perfect. Close to train station Piccadilly as well as the centre of Manchester The shower did not provide hot water. Although I have read reviews of others expressing this same negative point, I thought how bad can it be and decided to go for it. But it was bad

Good value for money, great location. Good sized room. Breakfast was excellent. Room was very badly lit with only 2 bedside lamps lighting the whole room. Bathroom was dirty and the shower pressure was dreadfully low.

Rates are reasonable and location is good. I was charged 111 pounds for 45 min call to south Africa which seemed a bit exceessive to me. This was the equivalent of the cost of the room for my whole stay there. Good hotel but don't make any internattional calls.

I liked the room, and its cleanlines. The staff was very help full. Obviously not your fault, was the sounding of the fire alarm. I wished i had more light in the room. The bath is high to get into it.

Location close to facilities required. Accessibility of stirs and liftts made for easy access to rooms. Room warm and clean. Wifi good connection Lack of ceiling lighting. Lighting limited to 2 very dim table lamps. Made it necessary to keep bathroom light on / door open for additional light. Thsi had a very noisy and intrusive extractor fan running constantly.

Left my phone charger in the room. Rang to say I would pick it up but the hotel said it hadn't been found. Reception didn't seem bothered but I asked them to enquire further and call me back. They said they would but didn'T. Wouldn't recommend this hotel - there are quite a few I have stayed in Manchester which are much better and a similar price.
