Not even warm enough in the room. Bad noise

The owner is so nice, the location is very convenient, and the price is acceptable.

The staff were very professional and helpful. They were very knowledgeable about various services offered nearby.

Although the rooms were conveniently located, they were rather small. There were also no laundry services either offered by the hotel or onsite.

Ease of getting to and price.

Old fashioned decor - badly needs updating. Toilet 2 floors up from room!

The hotel was situated close to the west end,kings cross station and main shopping/tourist attractions making it an ideal place to stay.

A very basic service was offered.There was no lift and the family room was on the top floor making it awkward with toddlers.I Found that this hotel was fairly expensive for the level of service and comfort offered.

Very shabby and dated

A traditional English bed and breakfast hotel, unchanged I would say from the 1960's, which means that if you need an en-suite then look elsewhere. My room (nr 6) was very small but with a hand basin and facing the back which was pretty quiet and green. Floor boards creak above at night - but so what? It's not really suitable for single women (because of having to parade up and down to the loo etc) but for a man like me looking for a quiet night before work the following day - just ideal. It's on a busy road (Gower St) but which leads right into the centre of London (bus stop opposite). Most of the guests seemed to be from abroad - I think Americans would be a bit put off by the faded and limited facilities but if you go into this with your eyes open you'll probably be ok.

Breakfast could have been better with a bit of effort - the ingredients were fine but the staff needed more training and investment into organisation and management skills. I had the sense of a general lack of experience amongst the staff who needed additional English language tuition and the presence of a manager qualified in the field of 'Hospitality and Management'. There are many universities in the uk offering this specialism, so there's actually no excuse for inaction.

good english breakfast, the hotel is very central: you can walk covent garden and underground (goodge street) is just around the corner.

very very very small room without any comfort, dirty carpets, ridiculous small shower and wash basin, uncomfortable and dirty bed. the hotel has a good location, but all in all it´s just too expensive for what you get!
