Didn't get a chance to like anything ! We arrived at 2 30 and there was no one in!!! 15 calls later we had to find a hotel. We were going to a wedding. They eventually phoned us at 6 45 to say they were home!!! Too late
Didnt like the extra expense and trouble we had haging to find somewhere else at the last minute
The breakfast was good & the owners were very helpful and friendly in providing information
nothing as we didnt get to stay there
Could hear all noises from other rooms
We enjoyed a very quiet, comfortable stay. Our host and hostess are wonderful, and we enjoyed visiting with them. We felt very welcome and well looked after.
All was great.
Friendliness of the host.
Breakfast could have been a bit more varied and accommodating of the guest's needs.
The couple who own the B&B were very very nice!!!! They took an interest in us and did all they could to make us welcome!!!! They have us directions to R Burns place and advice on what other sites to c
It was hard to find the street address as the numbers were quite small. Hint to those of u driving. If u r coming off of A77 to A79(which is where B&B is). If u get to a small strip mall on R side of road. Turn around. It is just two houses E of mall. U park on the street and Then u c the street address
WE WOULD DEFINATELY NOT STAY IN GARTH MADRYN AGAIN! We stayed in the suite and were surprised that we were not given a room key just a front door key. When asked for one it was clear the land lady was not happy at the inconvenience of giving a guest a room key. Smokers are asked to travel through the house and go out to the back of the garden to have a cigarette. The door leading to the kitchen was locked off at nine o' clock, rendering it impossible to smoke at night.Breakfast consisted of cereal, orange juice, three rashers of bacon and an egg, with a cup of coffee too. We were booked in until 11 am but were asked to leave 18 minutes early by the land lady so that she could 'make the room tidy for the new guests.'
Location to tourist interests mainly Robert Burns Birth place. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Lovely couple that run the B&B; very informative and knowledgable. The breakfast was delightful; great way to start a day of touring. Family friendly - we travelled with a 2 month old infant.
Lovely couple who ran B&B made our stay very enjoyable
No complaints. All good.
A bit too far out for walking to town centre.
From the moment we walked through the door we were made to feel like one of the family. The little old man entertained us with his Kylie minogue impressions and he had us on the edge of our seats when he started juggling knives whilst riding a unicycle and when I began to doze off the old lady carried me into bed and I'm over 6ft. After an amazing breakfast the old lady permed my hair
The scary picture of the mayor
couple was great, even gave me lift to the station
The family who run this are so kind and friendly, and make you feel very welcome. The rom was spacious, and spotlessly clean. It was very relaxing.
The weather was, unfortunately, awful, but we did not let that stop us enjoying ourselves.
The hosts were friendly. Internet ok
Tiny room with even smaller ensuite. Missing pillow cases and towels. Uncomfortable beds. Car parking on the main road. Overall a very odd set up and certainly no where near the ratings it has achieved.
Home from home? Lovely couple opening their house to three couples for B&B
felt a little "uncomfortable" as bedroom was right next door to breakfast room and the door in between was open when we arrived.
very friendly couple and made very welcome.
