The location & the staff were very good.

The antiquated bathroom ie no shower. Every door in the hotel banged loudly!!

After deciding we were going to make the best of it we joined in with the entertainment and really had a excellent time. Staff was friendly, service was also good..... Had an excellent honeymoon night.

We booked a double room but Was given a chalet type room but had to resort to a twin room as no other double rooms available. This was our first honeymoon night. We decided to make the best of it as we did.

If you think you are going to stay at the Ritz for these prices – go elsewhere if you appreciate cleanliness, friendliness and fantastic location at a great price this is the one.

No having booked more nights - will be back

Food was good

Although food was good value at £12.50 per head, the menu was limited and we were given a 3 course meal in 30 minutes. My dinner plate was removed from the table whilst I was still eating my last mouthful. The staff were also making it obvious we were holding them up as they were laying the breakfast settings out all around us and it was only just gone 7.30pm and we were only into the main course. I did ask for a double room and was given a twin room.

Location was lovely, staff were friendly and helpful, nice comfortable lounge, reasonable breakfast.

The 'Hotel Inspector' would have a field day! No shower - bathroom could do with being revamped! And the television was about 20 years old at least - old, tiny box, no digital.

Nice location in the middle of no where, nothing else in the village. Super evening meal excellent value with super service from lovely waiteress'S. Cracking breakfast, nice just to chill out

A bit dated decor, needs an update urgently. If this place had a spa it would be really sort.Next to a main road and railway

Unable to get a meal because arrival was after 8pm.

All the hotels in all the world where I have stayed accept putting drinks on the room bill to payed at check out, not here. The first drink in the afternoon went on the room no problem, evening time differant barmaid, differant rules, she called the manager who explained only cash in the bar. Embarrising in front of other guests but said "it was ok this time" No notice in the bar to say cash only, would have saved the embarrisment.

très bon accueil, une très jolie décoration victorienne. rapport qualité/prix excellent. personnel attentif.

il y avait 2 cars de personnes âgées qui sont arrivés en même temps que nous et nous étions un peu perdues au milieu des différents groupes.

Goed om een nacht te verblijven, niet om je vakantie daar te houden.

Hotel dient duidelijk gerenoveerd te worden. Als je naar het plafond kijkt denk je dat binnenkort de stukken eraf vallen. Kamer 102 was erg gehorig. Naast ons sliep een kind van 1 jaar. Als dat huilde was het net alsof het bij ons op de kamer stond.

Gästeklientel sind hauptsächlich Busgruppen, in die Jahre gekommendes Hotel, Essen wurde nur als "Busgruppenmenü" angeboten-kein a la carte

Ottima struttura in posizione comoda se si passa in direzione Inverness. Camere arredate con cura. Ottima la cena a prezzi contenuti.

Tv-systemet utslaget helt, ingen backupsystem och samma kväll OS-invigning. tjock-TV 14 tum. slitna långa korridorer

l'hôtel est facile à trouver...sur une route au milieu de nulle part. le petit déjeuner est très copieux et le personnel sympathique.

par contre les chambres auraient besoin d'un bon rafraichissement. elles sont vraiment chères pour le confort proposé.(65 livres pour une nuit avec deux breakfasts)!

Very friendly staff. Room was very basic but warm and quiet - no issues.

Unfreundliches Personal; Frühstück quantitativ ungenügend und Nachforderung abgewiesen; statt 2 Doppelzimmern (á 2 Personen) 2 Ferienwohnungen (mit je 4 Betten) erhalten (8 Betten für 3 gebuchte Personen), nur eines bewohnt, aber beide zahlen müssen!

La decoración es muy kitch y particular: llenos de fotos antiguas, animales disecados, mobiliario muy antiguo...¡tiene hasta un fantasma! Si quieres estar en la peli de El Resplador o Psico....¡Éste es tu hotel!

Lo anterior puede que sea justamente lo que no te guste. Si buscas un hotel moderno..¡huye! Está todo el año lleno de jubilados. Nos dieron la peor habitación. Cuándo protestamos, nos la cambiaron.

Being asked move tables at breakfast as we had chosen one which another couple had been sitting at ALL WEEKEND! Being asked to pay for wine whilst eating.

The facilities were good.

TV channels were very few.
