It is a small hotel based in a lovely part of London. It is close to the underground with good bus routes. The room was nicely laid out and even contained a fridge which was a surprising plus. Other posters have commented about the road noise. However, this is a feature of most reasonably priced hotels in London. It is a city that operates 24/7. Even with the double-glazed windows open the external noise was restrained, certainly no deal breaker.

The location was excellent, only metres from Clapham South tube station giving easy access to and from central London. The Avalon pub next door was very handy for a nightcap! The rooms were spotless with fresh linen and towels daily. The staff we met were friendly and eager to share their local knowledge, a great help.

The staff were friendly and low key. The place was spotless and rooms very neat. Perfect position to launch a shopping and eating attack on London.

Excellent location to Clapham South Underground station (Northern Line). Very pleasant and helpful receptionists. Overall a very comfortable value for money hotel which we would use again. Nothing of any significance.

The room was in good condition and clean. The fridge was really a big plus. The window couldn't be open and it was looked at the neighbouring wall. The WiFi worked well. The location is not very central but very close to the tube station and this way convenient to get to the city quite quickly. The window facing to a wall only in a distance of 1m.

Friendly, helpful staff. Good quality, comfortable room. Very close to shops. Very good pub-restaurant and good cafes very nearby. Good travel connections. I stayed for several days. On the Friday night the traffic noise was noticeable and continued until late. Perhaps some guests would not be bothered by it. The hotel supplies ear plugs which blocked out the noise.

It was clean and quite and the staff are very helpful. Attention to detail was a major problem; The quilt smelt, it was not fresh, The pillows where old flat and lumpy and should have been replaced some time ago. The lamp flickered and did not work well. The remote for the telly kept stickling when trying to reduce volume. Overall it was clean but the biggest problem for me was the issues with the Bed.

Simple, but clean, comfortable and cheap. Accomodating staff, fridge, perfect wifi, kettle and bisquits. All good! The wardrobe was a bit rickety, but besides that everything was just fine!
