Close to Chester Zoo which was our final destination.

The room smelt damp & smokey. Far too noisy from the motorway traffic which was literally outside our room, so i would've thought the double glazed windows would've helped but no! The fan was broken & the room was incredibly hot.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. It is good value for a buget hotel

Very noisy. Could do with a bit of a facelift although very clean it was quite tired in places. The rooms get a lot of road noise as it is very close to the dual carriageway.

Room was ok and fairly comfortable.

No tea making facilities. Pool very shallow and whole pool could do with a good clean and refurbishment. Breakfast was poor, table wasn't set and had to ask for it to be laid, kept running out of things, bread was frozen so had to be eaten as toast.

We liked the location as it was central to our activity plans. Staff were friendly on the whole especially the receptionists. Saying that, one of the breakfast staff was not having a good day!! The rooms were clean and basic, and there was team/coffee making facilities. Staff responded very promptly to suggestions to improve stay. Toilets and shower facilities were clean and water was lovely and hot. The kids loved the access to the swimming pool and it was a great way to end the day.

I didn't like the restricted space in the room especially as we had the sofa bed open for the kids. The kids did not mind the sofa bed but it was very uncomfortable for the adults to sit/lie down on. I would have liked space to unpack other than a single wardrobe.

Rooms were clean and spacious, they let us check out two hours late as a wedding party (bride too). Swimming pool was good and free to use. Breakfast was lovely.

Split group up through hotel instead of putting us In rooms near each other. Booked disabled room and no shower chair took 3 hours for staff to bring one. No food in restaurant in the evening, absolutely nothing local such as restuarants etc.

Staff friendly. Breakfast very good, evening meals very good. Bedroom very good. Car parking good. Plenty of hot water.

Noise from the motorway, rear bedrooms would be quieter. Bathroom broken shower rail, ceiling needs painting. Areas of Pool, Sauna and showers need a good clean.

Menu quite basic, but food selected was excellent, high quality and well presented.

Room too hot - no air conditioning and leaving the windows open meant constant traffic noise.

The leisure facilities. The room was dirty and did nothave the correct stuff for family. The food was poor. The hotel claimed to be something it was not. When I booked I understood the breakfast was included and then had to pay £15!!

The bed was reasonably comfortable and the free wifi was useful.

    1. The bathroom could have been cleaner; 2. Despite knowing we were bringing two children with us they had only provided pillows and towels for two people, I had to ask at reception for more, which they gave, but I think there should have been enough provided in the first place; 3. The room was unbearably hot, no air conditioning, which made for a really bad nights sleep. When I mentioned this as I was checking out the response I got was to ask if there was a fan provided, which there was, I pointed out that it wasn't adequate. The receptionist made no apology and simply said "oh"; 4. The heat situation was only made worse by the fact that only one of the windows opened as the handle was broken on the other one; 5. The noise level was awful from the main road, so even if both the windows had opened we couldn't have kept them that way through the night. If you are going to situate a hotel so close to a main road then the windows should really be adequate to keep the noise out! Had we have realised how close the road was we wouldn't have booked to stay here (or specifically asked for a room on the other side of the hotel); 6. The breakfast wasn't exactly great, running out of things and not replenishing them (including the tea) is not what you want when you have hungry children! Plus there were a lot of tables that hadn't been cleared from previous guests when arrived and the woman working in this area was quite grumpy! All in all we were relieved to only have booked for one night and would not recommend this hotel at all!
