Not far to travel, next relaxing break. Staff very friendly. Romms alway clean & tidy. Swimming pool etc great. Only thing that was disapointing you don't do fried eggs with breakfast!! Why?

The location is perfect for visiting north Wales and Chester.the breakfast was really tasty and at night we had the heated pool all to ourselves! That bed was so comfortable. All slept very well. The bathroom door wouldn't stay open to let steam out.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was really good. There was poor sound insullation between rooms. There was nowhere to relax and the restaurant was more like a cafe as it was just behind reception. We stayed dinner, bed and breakfast and were annoyed that we had to pay the difference, if the main course was greater than £12, as the cheaper meals were just pub food. Also the food was overpriced in our view. If we may make a suggestion, having stayed in many hotels worldwide, most hotels operate a table d'hote menu when customers book on a db+b basis. Once again I would like to say the staff were faultless.

The lady working new years eve was lovely and really professional. She helped us with travel to Chester as the hotel is further out than we anticipated. Location was quite far out from Chester but nothing to worry about, was 25 pounds back on new years eve.

Really good value for money. Lovely place, room was big, clean and comfortable with flat screen tv, tea & coffee etc. Food in the evening was lovely. I did not like the fact I couldnt order food in the day until 6pm. I also booked the room due to going to a 30th birthday party there however I couldnt pay by card in the function room and I hadnt taken enough cash and had no way of getting cash out!

Bed was super comfy, and the decor of the room was modern and clean The room was too hot to sleep in, but since it was right next to the busy road opening the window was too noisy, I didnt get much sleep. No decaf drinks in the room

We found all staff very helpful and thought the standard of service very high. The meals included in the very reasonable nightly rate were good value for money.

Basic but clean and well presented rooms. Food was very good for price as was restaurant service. Access after an evening out is via a buzzer not a key fob which left us plus other guests waiting outside at 145 am till 230am would suggest you let them Know in advance when you intend to return to avoid this!

Very friendly staff, modern well decorated room, good food and reasonably priced. Our room was located between a gym which played very loud dance music and a function room which had a party going on. Wouldn't have been an issue in a different section of the building.

I had specifically booked a "double" room. My understanding of a double room is that the bed is a double. I was in fact put into a twin room, i.e. two single beds. I cannot sleep in a single bed, I was restless all night, and woke feeling unrefreshed. Bearing in mind that I had to work for 6 hours in Buckley, then drive 4 hours home, I cannot help feeling that I could easily have fallen asleep at the wheel. The next time I book a double room, if it is not a double bed, I will refuse to pay.

The staff where very friendly and professional On the second night there , there was a gypsy wedding function which even the staff did not no about, it was not pleasant at all, people where spitting off the roof at us, bottles where ben thrown and smashed in the car park, children where smashing glasses inside the hotel, it was more like dale farm on the sunday night. The staff where brillant trying to cope with it, but more staff and sercurity where required as been a guest it was most uncomfortable. The staff did there best as they where unaware of it been a gypsy party, but it spolit the sunday night big time.

The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The excellent breakfast and dinner we had. Access to the leisure and spa facilities. Lack of sound proofing of the bedroom window. As the hotel is situated right next to a busy dual carriage way we feel it would benefit from better double glazed windows.

Hotel was convenient for travelling the coast and countryside of North Wales. Rooms a bit sparse and did not reflect the photograph on the web-page. Food and staff good on first three nights but decided to stay an extra night but unfortunately a shortage of staff ruined the evening meal.

Chester was really nice just a shame about hotel. Cheaply refurbed, broken toilet seat with very poor shower. Not a good start Again bad maintenance, no leisure facilities told we could use another club which was over 8 miles away. Badly refurbed rooms but comfy bed. Everything loose or broken. Shower made loud noise and had no pressure. Toilet seat wasn't fixed to toilet.

It was a convenient stopover on our way back from Scotland, and it was a very pleasant stay- good value, comfortable rooms, relaxing leisure club, good food, friendly staff. Motorway traffic noise could be a problem for some, but didn't bother us.

Breakfast was good, that about it! Arrived on a Friday night to find reception desk unattended, loud wedding disco in full swing, the function room for this is on the second floor along with the majority of the rooms. To say that it was too loud is an understatement and it continued unti 1.00am. General condition of the hotel can only be described as tatty with dirty carpets. I would not use the days inn chain again.

Room was clean and not too small. Some staff were very helpful. Overall good value for what we needed Location next to motorway wasn't ideal, some staff were more concerned about talking to each other then helping guests and no top sheet on the bed, just a doona, which felt a little bit dodgy. Nothing of the above was a huge deal however and we'd stay there again
