The hotel was nice and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. Free WIFI. Shower was nice. I didn't have time to check out the other facilities, but would have loved to.

It was situated on a motorway and so was quite noisy. Also the curtains weren't great and the sunlight came through very early. The bathroom needs a bit of DIY and slight improvements to make it look a bit more new, looked after and fresh.

Nice to have a Gym and Swimming pool on site.

Evening menu was limited and they had run out of quite alot of main dishes.

It was right on the bus stop for trips into Chester, one day we could use our bus pass the other day we had to pay. It was also near our friends who we went to visit.

I would have liked the choice of fried eggs or boiled eggs

The Gym and poor are good.

The hotel is right next door to a very busy A road and there aas heavy traffic all through the night. I did not manage to get to sleep until past 3am due tot he noise and as such was very tired for my client meetign the next day. I would not stay there again.

The jacuzzi was out of use for the whole stay, very disappointing as this was the main reason for booking at this hotel. Gym staff not very friendly. Not all the lights in the room worked. Not enough towels in the room. Poor picture on the tv.

Pillows are rather difficult

Cheap and cheerful. Ideal for visiting Chester and north Wales. Good for relaxing in pool and sauna. Food is great.

Hotel is a little tired in places but going through refreshment /refurbishment. Doesn't stop me visiting again.

We booked the hotel for our new years eve break, wanting to use the leisure facilities and enjoy a quiet and romantic new years eve together. We couldn't have been more disappointed and our new years eve was ruined!The hotel was in a location that can only be described as bleak with nothing nearby and a grotty pub next door. The hotel itself had a stale smell throughout and was far from clean. My partner found found two very unpleasant surprises in the main hotel mens toilets so we had to go back to our room! The bathroom stank of smoke, we had to febreeze our entire bathroom and bedroom as the smell was so bad. When I used the soap dispenser in the bathroom, the front of it fell off and made it impossible to use. The shower made a very concerning noise when it was used which made showering far from relaxing and the bathroom steamed up to the point that getting dry in there was impossible!finally, the remote on the tv didn't work so we had to keep getting up and down to change channels.....defeating the purpose of a nice relaxing and cozy evening! We couldnt have been more disappointed. Budget friendly is the only option I could select on the words option but to be honest, beyond basic budget hotel would be more appropriate and we felt completely ripped off. There was no value for money at all. I will not be recommending or returning to this hotel or another days hotel. Very disappointing and a ruined New Years Eve.

We've stayed the last 2 New Years Eve's and thoroughly enjoyed it,clean,peacefull and relaxing in the pool and hot tub, The food was excellent and the rooms were comfortable. Me and my fiancée used it as a overnight stay ready to go to the chesire oaks and the Trafford centre which is approx a 40 minute drive away. Would stay here again as it's good excellent for money

The rooms and corridors could do with a lick of paint

we were at a family party so your location was ideal for use room was good size and the bed comfy but i could not sleep because of a humming noise all night.

the price we have stay b&b in southport prince of wales £87 for three nights for the two of us. iwas a housekeeper in 4 star hotel for 20 years so i do notice the cleanleness of rooms the toilet bowl was very brown needs some bleach and a good scrub .

I had a horrible experience in this hotel--the staff were unwilling to deal appropriately with unruly guests, so we had to shift rooms to a quieter one. We had booked a twin room, but were told that 'there were no other clean twin rooms available' so we had to use a double room. When we asked for a roll-out bed to accommodate my mother on the floor, we were told 'they cannot give us one as only the maintenance man can bring these to the room.' My mother ended up sleeping on the floor. The staff were rude and unhelpful. The shower curtain fell off the wall. I do NOT recommend staying in this over-priced, shoddy hotel.

The breakfast was excellent and there were plenty of sockets in the room.

The decor was very tired, there were cracks on the walls, the carpet had seen better days and the shower was mouldy. The pillows were cheap and uncomfortable and beds were hard. The furniture had seen better days and the hair dryer was practically useless. The changing rooms for the spa were small, the lockers had no available keys and they smelt of mould. The public toilet was dirty, the floors had not been cleaned properly for some time and there were lots of hairs on the floor. They seemed to be working on a skeleton staff and although they were polite, friendly and helpful it was as though they were trying to polish a turd (for want of a better phrase).

I chose this hotel based on location and price. £75 Dinner b&b - including a Pool, Jacuzzi & Sauna, and Gym I thought was good value for money. I found the staff to be very helpful and efficient. I'm not sure if they do Room Service, but when I asked the lady on Reception if I could order my dinner, and then come and collect it to eat in my room (as I didn't want to sit on my own in the Restaurant), she kindly offered to bring it down for me - result.

The hotel is looking a little tired around the edges, and some of the corridors had a smell of cigarettes. But this didn't spoil my stay as I was only here for one night on business, and it would not stop me staying again.
