Polite considerate staff, good quality surroundings, nice selection on menu and food looked and taste good. WiFi could be more accessabile throughout the hotel, not just in lobby area. |

We like the Cambridge Hotel because we travel to the States quite a lot and find it very convenient for Gatwick airport especially with the mini bus service which is excellent. The food which is making my mouth water as I write, and the attention given to us while we are there because after all this is the first day of our holiday. |

Bar and dining room were both very welcoming. Room wqas comfortable, shower was excellent. No brown bread or brown toast at btreakfast,. No menu to choose from and language communication a slight problem. |

Fabulous airport shuttle service, very prompt and free with the room. Only a 10 min drive. Very reasonable price. They were having a "Turkish Night" in their restaurant and the music was very loud. You would want to be in a far room if you are there when this is going on. |

I liked the fact that I can book on line and then the check in runs smoothly. We were given our room key went to our room and freshened up before going to the bar for a drink followed by a very nice meal in the dining room. |

We had a warm welcome by knowledgable staff. Only staying overnight sadly we did not eat at the hotel. The shuttle service both to and from Gatwick Airport was puntual and trouble free. |

having used the hotel 10 times and having seen the renovations it is now a first rate hotel and the staff reflect a pride in the business. The collection from airport is quick and efficient. I will be using the hotel again and again! |

We booked a double but had a really lovely large room with big bay windows and two extra beds in, so that was a nice surprise. Really lovely and clean hotel. They let us check in late (around 1am) and have a late check out (just after midday) for no extra charge which was great, also we only waited 5 minutes for a lift to Gatwick airport which was brilliant. I suppose the only downside to this hotel is that breakfast is not included and is quite expensive to pay extra to have it. We got breakfast at the airport instead for about half the price! But aside from that it is a lovely hotel and would recommend. |

We stayed before it was excellent but this time not impressed see below, due to the principle of this they have now lost my custom and I will not recommend either to friends and family sorry to say. On arrival it was late 8pm we found we had to pay for additional parking of 1 day we had booked 15 days but were told we have to pay for 16 which includes the night that we stayed? Even though it was 8pm we went for food and returned 2 hours later due to car park being full we had to park at the main entrance near the road. We were given a room on the 4th floor in the attic had to carry 3 large cases up there as there are no lifts; we did ask before hand if it was ok to leave them in car over night but advised it might not be safe to do this. I find this over charge not reasonable way to run a business since they were given flight and arrival times when we booked then you find additional charges being added when you get there. |

Evening dinner Noise in room from kitchens below all night. The transfer from Gatwick back to the hotel was appaling it was over an hour before they came back for the rest of the party and the driver was rude and unhelpfull he left us to unload our cases. We prefer your other hotel Acorn Lodge |

The location and convienience to Gatwick Airport, also the transport to airport from hotel and retrun. The helpfulness and politeness of the driver. We were only there from a late afternoon to a very early morning, & the staff were friendly & helpful. On return from holiday at arrival at the hotel and after settling account, we were unable to get a drink/food as there appeared to be no staff inattendance at the bar or on reception when we went to enquire about bar staff. Eventually the receptionist appeared and went to look for someone, but we got fed up with waiting after 10 minutes and left. Maybe they had a staff shortage or change of shift, but we think that because the receptionist had to physically look for someone was a bit old fashioned in todays hi-tech |
