Really helpful staff. Shuttlecock Gatwick really useful.
Close to airport and walking distance to local eateries
The family room was very small and therefore not easy to sleep in. Breakfast was poor. Bacon hard, toasters v slow, no one else in dining room speaking for itself.
Staff were very welcoming. Room was in newer part and very nice although smallish. Had a very good pie and pint at the onsite restaurant/bar. A great choice for an overnight before flying out of Gatwick.
A great value of money and would definitely be using this accommodation again to fly from Gatwick.
Staff, dinner in the pub, shuttle to airport.
Tiny room, miniscule window, and loud snorer in adjoining room.
The hotel was well situated and the staff very pleasant, would certainly use the hotel again.
Loved the location and the price! A great value
All was good
Handy for trains and Gatwick Airport. Quiet location yet close to shopd (under 10 minutes walk) Staff really helpful & friendly Late bar, comfy bed, not disturbed by anyone, what more could you want.
Prompt pick up and delivery to and from airport. Good food. Reasonably priced. room.
No lift, but they stored our luggage in a secure room downstairs so not a problem. Road a bit noisy.
immaculate rooms, clean and bright. good wi-fi. good bar and food facilities.
car parking charge for non gatwick transit customers is a little steep.
Nice clean, quiet place with friendly reception. Excellent value for money.
Paying for parking to stay overnight!
Excellent reception, location and airport transfer
Great for one night, a bit cramped for more
Close proximity to Gatwick and price
The accomodation was good. Booked a 5 bedded room and got two rooms with bathroom.
The reception staff wasn't friendly and we had to pay an extra £6 to park the car. Breakfast was not good - overcooked and cheap bacon/sausage
Staff very welcoming. Clean rooms. Handy for airport. Good shuttle available 24 hrs.
Unfortunately we had noisy neighbours as we had an earlier flight it was a problem, but the staff moved us to a quieter room. Would advise people to stay in the main house or at the back of main house as once we moved it was very quiet.
Rooms too hot. Very noisy - people loud and inconsiderate to others trying to sleep.
The location of Gatwick Belmont is good, appropriately 5 minutes walk to the Horley train station and about 6 minutes drive to the Gatwick airport. Reception opens 24 hours. Single room is very big and quiet at night. Airport transport service is good.
The facilities are very old.
All of the staff were friendly and obliging. The airport pick-up and collection were very prompt, and the hotel's proximity to Gatwick airport was a big plus. The hotel has a very cozy bar area serving good food, and the optional buffet breakfast was great value for money.
A small point, this, but the bed, which was on castors, had a tendency to move around too easily.. since the headboard was mounted separately to the wall, this made things just a little awkward for a restless sleeper.
Friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room, good food.
There was nothing to dislike
I honestly can't think of anything.
Was put in a ground floor single room that had definitely seen better days. Small and musty with a toilet/shower room that appeared to be in a corner cupboard. I had to step into the shower to access the hand basin. The shower curtain was way too short and, consequently, no matter what I did, water actually ended up seeping onto the bedroom floor outside. The small window had no security bars or grille, so I didn't feel comfortable leaving it open at night. There was no air con either, so room got quite stuffy overnight. Furthermore, the blinds were broken in one place so I had to turn off the lights to get changed. In the morning, I was awoken by loud conversation directly outside my window, as the hotel cleaners sat on a step for their morning coffee and smoke. Considering I paid exactly the same for a room at the Airport Inn on my outbound flight, I think I'll go back there next time. Nothing would convince me to stay at the Belmont again. BTW - Airport shuttle is £6, as adverse to the free shuttle from major Gatwick chain hotels.
Staff. Convenience to LGW Evening Meal Breakfast, except eggs which had been fried sometime . Transport to LGW
Scruffiness of outside breakfast room windows. Outside needs painting.
Room for family of six. Train station to London Victoria in walking distance. Transfer to London Gatwick - if not booked, you pay 6 pounds per trip. Helpful staff. English breakfast.
what was there to like
Just poor value for the money. To many extras for non transiant clients
Nice location to airport good service to and from airport
Not the best breakfast
