The rooms were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was really good and the staff polite and friendly. The room seemed a little dim at night, but some of the bulbs in the room were out.whilst there was loads of hot water, the shower wasn't very good.overall, the hotel seems a little run down and very dated. But still very comfortable to stay in.

Very adequate accommodation at a great price. A gold star for manging to provide rooms for smokers - a rare but necessary service for some. Well done to the proprietors! Many of the rooms are not accessible and have a lot of stairs with no lift available.

The airport is close to airport and taxi shuttle agreement makes it easy to get out to airport fairly reasonably with direct travel Didn't like the creaky floors and comings and goings of other lodgers. Lots of noise from pub and kitchens.

We enjoyed our stay as usual it suits us as it is near family and is central to be where we need to be. We are a little concerned that now The George has changed to The Ramada that we will not be able to afford to come any more if the prices rise too much. The staff are always very polite and welcoming thats why we keep coming back. Unfortunately we have to stay in the downstairs rooms as my husband is disabled and the stairs are a problem if there were a lift it wouldn't be a problem. The rooms are getting a little tired which is why they try to put us upstairs in the slightly better rooms but that doesn't work for us maybe if the rumours are true and there will be a lift installed soon that would help us a lot and make life easier for us to stay in different rooms.

The bathroom looked new, clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable. The room was also very large. It appeared as though some work had been done to refurbish the room but not finished properly. For instance a radiator had been moved but the pipe for the old radiator had been left, looking dirty and out of place. The carpets and curtains also needed modernising.

Overa very good. It would be a good idea to have a sign on the entrance door to room giving discription of how to open the door. I stood outside for ten mins. To figure out how key worked. A better map is needed to reach the rooms especially if it is dark on first arrival. In the room it is also a good idea to state the wine is complimentary. Flowers on breakfast table would also be pleasent. Only little touches would make the stay much more pleasent, Evenso I plan to make another visit soon
