Location for shops, pubs, restaurants and airport. Cost of room, comfort and style of (old) part hotel.
Very noisy occupants of room next door.
the location was good ,and the parking was very convienient.
when we arrived there was no one around to check in.
Room was good size modern and clean. Plenty tea and coffees in tray. Excellent location to shops it's in the centre of town.
Superior rooms are worth the extra charge as you get the use of a small fridge to store snacks and drinks. The location is perfect for a shopping trip.
Reasonably cheep for somewhere close to Gatwick, with car parking round the back, plus plenty of places to eat nearby.
It once might have been a grand old building but Ramada aren't really doing much with it. No evening meal facilities on site at all, although there's plenty of choice in the street. The doors all bang and there was always loud conversation outside at the back late at night, every night for four nights!
Old building, close to restaurants, shops etc. Good breakfast. Helpful staff.
Carpets in corridors in annex building, run down bathroom, noise in ventilation system.
The bed was comfortable
The bathroom was in an awful state chipped bath and smelly floor! A lot of noise from outside door banging and showers being used in other rooms!
Room was quite dated
Room size, cleaning, room temperature,TV, Front desk service, price, location.
Bed was not good and shower was almost not useable, too hot, no elevator
Better room, warm and in the main part of the hotel
My granddaughter and I chose this hotel as it was close to the shopping centre and just a 5 minute drive from the Hawth Theatre where she was appearing in the ballet Copellia. I would recommend this hotel to friends. Lovely breakfast.
Good self service breakfast. Town centre near shops, bars and restaurants.
Walked from reception along warm corridors but noticed a drop in temperature after the fire door near the end of the corridor. In my room the radiator was barely warm and after having food I came back it was cold. It never got warm again. I was warm enough in bed but the room was very cold.
Brilliant location and perfect for a Christmas shopping trip with my Daughter
The beds were sooooo uncomfortable, the mattresses desperately need replacing
All good as usual except no heating on in November??
Facilities and comfort have scored low as there was no heating on even though it was November and the outside temperature was as low as 6C
Rooms were clean
good location and fair price
booked a twin rooms for two of my fitters.on arrival they where told unless i send them now a confirmation they can charge my company card they could not stay.they ring me about 5.30 and im not able to do so.unless i do then they cant stay.ok so if they walk away and dont stay then my credit card will be charged for not having the room?madness, really rude person.never staying again
Strange smell in the corridors Toilet flush handle broken The construction workers who started getting up at 5am on Sunday morning
Room 409 size more like having a small flat. All for £49 would stay here again
Thought the morning breakfast was poor very disappointing could do with being more organised. But to be fair it's only £5 if you book with your room just don't expect to much.
Central and nice staff
Location is very central to the historic High Street
It's a bit tired and in need of an upgrade. I found it a bit noisy but very good value
Strong smell of curry in passageway to our room.
Bin men 5am emptying glass bottle bins in the court yard entrance was enough to wake the dead !! But that's the only fault with the hotel
Only a 15 minute drive to the valet parking
Difficult to find, poor signage, tired decor, no lift
it seemed we were in some additional building other than the main hotel. the shower was very poor and I had to complain that the bath didn't drain very well and needed some attention. The breakfast was very good but to sum up we thought it very dissapointing
