Convenience of parking and a stop over the night before. Curtesy bus runs every 20mins. Reception staff very helpful. Surprisingly quiet location. Parking facilities excellent for car parking as underground. Bonus in the winter months.
Our allocated room was dirty on arrival so had to change rooms which was a nuisance when we had been travelling for nearly three hours. We had a problem with the height of the underground parking it does say a height restriction which was fine for our 4x4 but on reversing to the lower level a metal electric trunking was lower than the restricted height.....causing a dent in driver roof!! Beware!!
The hotel is value for money as it is so cheap when I booked it.
However, I am unsatisfied with hotel staff, especially a female staff at the reception in the morning of the check-out day. She was unwilling to answer my questions regarding to transportation to the airport. This experience with her made my overal feeling about the hotel degraded significantly.
Not a lot.
Evening Meal. Hotel ran out of peas so provided an overlarge portion of COLD carrots. Breakfast food piled on plate Transport café style very poorly presented Water pressure on second floor so low u9nable to shower.
good value for money, and did what I wanted it to do.
Tried to call Hotel to check arrival time and after the button pushing sequence, the girls voice tells me "they are experiencing a high number of calls and told me to call back later... and cut me off" This was at midnight!!!!!! Also the obnoxious female bus driver that parked in front of the hotel, (I assume was the courtesy bus to the terminals, shame she wasn´t courteous !!!) blocking the access road in and out, forcing me to reverse and leave via another hotels car park.
The hotel room was clean. You could make coffee or tea.
The room was very, very cold (maybe 12-15 degrees) and stayed like that through the night. The staff i talked to about the airport shuttle said it was nonstop when in fact the last shuttle leaves the airport at 12 am.
So near to airport and buses were easy .
Service in the eating lounge
Name of hotel was not listed at airport making it difficult to know which shuttle to use. Hotel was very dirty and had a foul smell. My room had to be changed twice as the first room smelled of curry and garlic so badly I couldn't breathe. The little old lady who came into the room to deal with the complaint remarked Yes I am aware of the smell....I just can get rid of it ! ! Having know this problem exists why would anyone rent out this room? ? ? The next room had an odor of dampness and of plaster or dry wall. The bathtub had hairs in it....the little old lady did not clean it properly. All in all a horrific experience. Because i was so exhausted I did not have the energy to book into another hotel. I have stayed in this facility in the past when it was called the Post and did have a positive experience. i will be warning anyone who will listen as to my experiences in this filthy place. Also i attempted to phone the hotel directly from Canada to no avail.
everything was fine for a one-night stay when down on business with a colleague. Price surprisingly cheap. Shuttle bus very handy - every ten minutes. Meal good value too.
nothing to complain about - even got more teabags when asked staff. No option in this survey to say stayed with a colleague in twin room so put solo traveller.
bus to airport every 20mins.great location vespecially for easirent car hire
Nice. Comfortable rooms. Having bath & shower
Not informed on booking that there was a car parking fee.
1. Price, 2. Location, 3. Comfort, 4. restaurant, 5. easy of transport to hotel.
1. Room was dated, rugs..2. Needs new paint. Bathroom mold in shower, mold on shower Curtin. Dirty stain chair. 3. Breakfast was bad, eggs cook incorrectly, taste of sausage bad, ham over cook. Horrible coffee. Food selection lacking.
The tv was a good size and in proper working order. The bed was ok, with two pillows and an extra blanket on the side to put on top of the bed only if you wanted. It's obvious that the hotel it's not perfect maybe because people only stay for a night they don't bother on trying to have a nice treat for people. For once night for you not to sleep at the airport it's ok, but not somewhere where Id stay more nights.
The room was freezing cold. There wasn't even a heater to warm up the room a little bit. The air con in the room wasn't working to hot air, only cold didn't matter how u were setting it. We were in the highest floor (5th) in a room that was just on a corner that didn't help when it was windy at night and we were getting the sound from two walls. Let's say that I went to bed at 11am and that at 3am I couldn't sleep anymore because of the noise. Which I know it's not their fault but after a long flight and having another long flight on the next day, it only makes you more upset. In the bathroom you could see that the toilet was clean but the floor was black. Plus the blanket that was on the side for us to put on the bed had hair from someone else's, that you could see once you were covered with it (I know it's not mine as I'm not blonde) The receptionist A Spanish man was kind but it's unacceptable that when he was checking us in more than 3 times he was ignoring us and shouting another guest name because he didn't sign something before. At the restaurant none came to advise us that they weren't coming the the table to order and you had to order from the bar. After 20 min waiting (they could see us) then I went to ask, none bothered to look after us, even with a coment to let us know.
The receptionist was very friendly
For someone who is used to living in the Australian tropics all UK hotel rooms are way too cold - the Airport Inn is no different. Some of us are not used to sub-zero temps!
Good heater in the room
Having to wait to check in whilst the supervisor at reception carried out the daily (11pm) tasks rather than allow me to get to my room. He never did check me in.... his colleague did after completing the costomer he was with

The room, the location close to Gatwick, the Gatwick shuttle bus, the location of Easirent car hire in the building, the room, the restaurant. The price! Good hotel accommodation at budget prices!
Breakfasts and restaurant meals very good.
Bed uncomfortable, mattress hard as a rock. Reception staff not quite as welcoming and co-operative as I'd like.
The room was comfortable not high-end but very nice. The evening's dinner meal was excellent. Good special for 2 people. Breakfast was very good. Airport shuttle very frequent and inexpensive. Staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
Nothing at all.
Staff very polite and friendly.
Food and drink s expensive
Rooms, Reception, Hot Breakfast. And obviously easy access to Hatice Airport.
The location. We use it prior to flying out of Gatwick. It is also close to a local good pub.
Only one poor beer on tap-the same as the previous owner.
