The Best Western Gatwick Moat House has a restaurant and lounge bar, offering traditional British cuisine and 24-hour room service. Cooked breakfasts are also available daily. The Gatwick Moat House runs a shuttle service to the airport. The Gatwick Express train leaves from the station, reaching central London in 30 minutes, and Crawley is a 15-minute drive away. When on special price this is a good nightstop hotel for Gatwick Airport. They have their own bus that runs every 30mins to and from the airport for £3.50 each . The rooms are clean and have all you need including 60mins free internet. Good size bathrooms as well. A 6 minute walk away using the shortcut through the churchyard is Ye Olde Six Bells pub. Lots of poor reviews but the beer was drinkable and the meal reasonably priced with free bottle of wine on the night we were there, so plenty of dutch courage for the walk back at midnight ! Hotel can book taxi to airport for £6 so if two or more this better offer and you go when you want not to the bus time.

I booked the hotel for my daughter who had travelled to England and was continuing her journey the next day. We were experiencing problems with communication with my daughter and were unable to get important information to her. The help I received from the Reception Manager before and after her stay was more than outstanding and a credit to the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you

The hotel is close to the airport and also close to shopping if you stay 2 nights like I did. It gives you an excellent chance to either see London or anywhere else the train goes. It is excellent for the airport departures. I thought that the cost of a coffee in the bar was a little exhorbitant...but otherwise I can find no fault with the hotel.

Arrived 11pm on Saturday night, greeted by very friendly staff at reception, was given large room for four, taxi ordered for following am at 8am and arrived as per request, room and hotel very clean, great place to stay for early flight

I have stayed this hotel several times over a 2year period and its always consistent, very clean very comfortable and no rowdy guests great for connx to gatwick food good and reasonable it would be nice if they had flat screen tv but for the price one cant complain.bus connx are reliable and every 30mins to gatwick nice bar with huge tv and pleasant staff

Being woken up in the middle of the night 3 times. First time was a maid knocking at the door with a pillow I did not request. Second time was her coming back half an hour later with the pillow again. If that was not bad enough I was woken a third time with a telephone call at 4.30 am saying my taxi was here. I did not order a taxi.

Everything. The breakfast was excellent and the room was superior to most hotels in the area. Charge for bus transportation and the limited free internet service. It would be good if you could expand the free Internet service to 4 hours instead of one

Convenient for airport with car parking facilities. Helpful experienced staff. Friendly service from all staff that we had contact with. Rooms basic but clean with every thing that we needed. Prices for drinks and food a little on the expensive side.
