The price. Family room was very small. With addition of baby cot, almost unmanageable. Room too warm, and air-con insisted pushing out hot air no matter what setting it was on. We were only staying one night (due to early flight from gatwick) so, given the price, it was fine. But couldn't imagine staying any longer. |

Conveniently a short bus ride from terminals. Reception staff were very friendly. Room was clean. Eating in the restaurant was not a nice experience for a solo traveller. Staff were surly. It was very cold with the air con on full and it took 30 mins to change it. |

The convenience of being close to Gatwick Airport and the excellent breakfast, the staff were cheerful and the atmosphere was convivial. We experienced a rather long wait for our transfer from the Airport to the hotel in the cold and dark of night, when the bus arrived we were informed that there was a charge of £3 each for a 5 minute journey, This charge has not been included on previous visits. |

I didnt like a lot to be honest. The room and hotel were far too hot and we were told nothing could be done apart from providing us with a fan! Also, we went to eat in the restaurant and were ignored by the waitresses, after 15 minutes we walked out! |

Location, speed of service, comfort, quality of food, bus from airport to hotel and back, accuracy of alarm call. The operation of the shower was beyond the scope of my limited abilities. |

The hotel was comfortable, convenient for Gatwick and low-priced - it provided a pleasant start to our holiday. The only gripe is that although it's only two or three minutes from Gatwick North the price of the shuttle bus is a bit high. |

Inside the room was a thermostat. Above was a note Air Conditioner.l tried to turn it on but hot air came out. I went down and told the receptionist but was told the hotel doesn't have air conditioner but heater only. Asked permission to open the window, bugs and flies were in between the glasses. |

The staff were friendly and accommodating. I had a problem with the first room I was allocated - the room and corridor (2nd floor) smelled strongly of mustiness/smoke and were very unpleasant. The reception staff were good in moving me to a better room on the 4th floor. Smoky-smelling room on 2nd floor = unacceptable. General standard of the room was not great. Windows didn't open so the room got quite hot, the shower head was fixed to the wall, not hand-held, and the sink and tiles were chipped and broken. The water from the taps was scalding hot. |

Easy to get to from the airport, reasonably priced, food good. Not about the hotel but the booking page on the internet is not accurate as I requested a smoking room which you do not have, and I could not book breakfast. |

It was convenient to stay in so that we could catch an early flight from Gatwick Airport and the car parking facility. We requested an early morning call (3.30 a.m) and this did not happen |
