Score from 232 reviews Good
The helpful and professional staff, the very clean and tidy room, the location for any where in the East Sussex area.
The scrambled eggs at breakfast, didn,t think they were fresh eggs!!
10 pound charge for parking but did not park in hotel car park as it was full. We parked in nuffield gym car park next door.
Place is immaculate condition.
Hotel no complaints
The taxi firm booked by your staff was extortionate, the 2m trip toTullys Farm cost £11 The driver was a smoker and had been smoking in taxi. Not a good advert for the quality you offer
Good sized room, clean, quiet, well equipped, friendly staff, good breakfast, good value
Close to Gatwick. Staff extremely helpful - receptionist even offered to let me use her personal phone to let my daughter know I had arrived safely! Lovely, well designed, spacious, well equipped room with easily the comfiest bed and pillows of my 10 day trip staying in various places.
Car park was completely full. Had to park in health centre next door, which was fine but there should have been signs advising of this. Booked on the understanding that there would be a shuttle bus to the airport but there was not. Taxi is 11.50 each way.
Room (was upgraded to exec ) Breakfast Evening meal Blackout curtains
People taking crossword from papers Cleaning staff lack of English Breakfast manager young lady grumpy need to replace with the helpful smiley one water jug should be left on table not someone coming round to top up glass Make sure that guests of hotel understand private parking means £10 a day means them also Not asked if I wanted to opt out of 10% charge for staff(it was automatically taken)
Lovely and clean, comfortable beds
Noisy cleaners 7am chatting loudly in the corridors.. I was up but others wouldn't of been
Staff - they deserve four stars. Cleanliness of the rooms. Location to Gatwick Airport.
The bar prices - as usual the chain hotels overcharge for food and beverage.
A nearer room being offered without request - fantastic when you're older and hobbling. All the room's facilities. The black-out curtains. Being remembered at reception by name.
Slight delay at check-in - one counter unstaffed. Never quite understood the light switching arrangements. Couldn't find a way of seeing on one screen what was on all television channels at the same time.
The room size ease of access. Quiet
Parking charges just for a 1 night stay.
Clean white sheets Quality breakfast Friendly staff
Not enough staff on at breakfast time - felt sorry for the girl trying to run it singlehandedly
Location Cleaneness Friendly and helpful staff Good choice of breakfast food
Doors banging duerin the night when people leaving to get flights. Paying for wi fi.
Very comfortable room
£10 overnight parking charge. Wasn't told about it until AFTER I had parked.
According to the staff this hotel was refurbished two years ago. This is astonishing, it looked like it was done yesterday. So the staff must be commended on their work everything was spotless, everything worked, nothing was too much trouble, I would have no trouble in recommending this Holiday Inn
This is my bugbear with all UK hotels; breakfast! Can I have less but better quality, nicer sausages, Back bacon and freshly cooked eggs. Forget the hash browns, the rubbery mushrooms and the baked beans. This goes for all hotel chains.
Ideally located for the wedding venue, good booking process and late check out times. Endless breakfast was welcome but pricey at a tenner.
Nothing much al seems good
Breakfast was not too tasty..
Friendly, helpful staff. Very clean and well maintained.
Poor connections to Airport and nearby towns - only taxi. Food choice limited.
Rooms were nice.
Still waiting for the invoice they promised to email me. Paying for parking is absolutely pathetic. Paying to use the gym is very poor as well.
close to Gatwick but nice and quiet. clean quiet room. No hassle check in.
Large spacious comfortable room. Spotless and every facility required.
Poor signposting on road leading to hotel. We stayed one night without breakfast and were asked to pay a £10 overnight car parking fee. The car park was large, next to hotel and the barrier up all the time., so it wasn't specially safe. I objected to the fee and was immediately quoted £5..... How can that be right? I will think twice about staying at this hotel again as I thought the fee was totally unnecessary.
friendly staff on arrival, comfy beds and good price and location
doors banging in the night
Clean, modern and well priced. Our stay was a short stop on the way to Goodwood. The room was tidy and the included breakfast a welcome bonus. Happy to return if we come back this way.
Food was really poor
