I loved it the moment I arrived. The decor is good, the food wonderful and the staff friendly and courteous. Nothing is too much trouble. If you like to get away from it all, but still be within a short driving distance of the coast and cute towns, this is the place for you. I will go back again and again.

Gellifawr exceeded my expectations in that the one bedroom cottage was far more spacious than I expected, the living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom were all separate sizeable rooms. The cottage was clean and warm and there was an adequate supply of hot water with a powerful shower. The "double" bed was larger than double and the kitchen facilities were excellent. Definitley somewhere I would return to in the future.

Facilities are poor. We had to go to a&e (40 km away) because our daughter tripped and needed stitches. She fell because there a light sensor is poorly located (it switches on when you are on the top of the stairs, not where needed at the bottom of the stairs). Room was smelly (musky) and food (dinner and breakfast) was overpriced, not very good and we had to wait a long time for it. Wales is very nice.

It was really handy having a first class restuarant side by side with a self contained cottage. It gave the best of both worlds. The location was superb and just what was needed to get away from the hectic life in the real world. The slight problem we had with a tap int he bathroom was handled quickly and eit was explained to us why.fficiently and although the tacould not be repaired

Our second stay at Gellifawr this time sleeping in the hotel. I Highly Recommend this hotel. We were in room 5 looking over the side garden. Probably the smallest room but very comfortable. With bath/shower lots of hot water and a good bed.Great food and very friendly staff. The hotel is in a great part of North Pembrokeshire you can really have a relaxing holiday super anytime of year. Great this Autumn.

Lovely hotel to get away from the normal daily stresses. Out of the way but close to towns and beaches. Good food and service. Friendly and helpful staff. Can be a bit difficult to find depending on which road you come in on.

Nothing very much. Breakfst staff very attentive. The room was in poor condition. Wallpaper coming away from the wall no bedside light on one side of the bed. Light in bedroom very poor unable to read. Bar area taken over by a loud group making it difficult to order pre dinner drinks. Discription says the hotel is five miles from fishguard more like eight down a single track.

The surroundings were lovely and the facilities, restaurant and room were better than expected. A pleasant surprise! The sign-posting in Wales and the directions provided were less than stellar (though we obviously did manage to find it!).

Good food, but on a limited menu. Friendly staff The Peace and Quiet Access to good beaches The rooms were 'tired' and the bed was uncomfortable, this was reported to the Hotel. There were very limited 'brochures etc' detailing events in the area. We booked the Executive Room , but were given a Family Room, however, we were not aware of this until after we checked out and had paid the bill.

A great location and clean, inviting, 3* self-catering cottages. Reasonable value for money. We were visiting family nearby so only stayed for one night, but it would make a great base for walking holidays as well as a hide-away from which to tour the area. The complex of barn conversions is full of character and very well maintained with fantastic views. No hot water! Although it didn't entirely ruin our stay, it left us with a bad feeling in more ways that one! We regularly stay in hotels all over the world; hot water is a given! Be aware - this hotel is different. You may need to locate and switch on the heater; I wish I'd known! It would have made a huge difference to our short stay if someone had told us! As a result - no hot water in the morning for showers etc. and the response to our complaint felt very off-hand (like we were at fault). KIds - only 4 channels on the TV but there is a DVD player. A breakfast menu would have been good. A 5* location with a 3* feel.

The location was remote, tricky to find but a beautiful setting. Well situated for Cardigan Bay The room. Very out -dated, old fashioned furniture, very uncomfortable bed. Old fashioned and limited television. No view whatsoever from this particular room Hall and breakfast room very pleasant then extremely disappointing stairs and landing Grim.

Our 2-bedroom cottage was very spacious, had all mod-cons, at a very affordable price. An ideal base to explore the hills, towns and beaches of South-West Wales, and to chill out at night time. WiFi is working inside our cottage. No mobile phone coverage.
