A 25-minute drive from Dorchester and Blandford Forum, The Fox Inn is a pretty inn in the Dorset countryside. There is free parking and Wi-Fi, and full English breakfast served in the garden room.

Set in the small Dorset village of Eype, Eype's Mouth Country Hotel is a family run 18 bedroom hotel with superb sea views. This 3-star hotel occupies a unique position on the Heritage Coastline.
Score from 81 reviews Very good
Friendly staff for whom nothing was too much trouble, excellent facilities and all first class standard.
Not being able to stay longer
First class facilities. Well managed and operated. Staff make your stay special. Family owned and it shows. Well done I would stay again when in the area.
If I was being extremely picky I would suggest the following in the bedrooms. Laundry bag for used clothes. Shaving mirror in bathroom. Soap dish in the shower cubical.
Double bed as 2 single beds pulled together which was really uncomfortable in the middle. Last night, the security light came on in the room (an awful bright white) which woke us at 3am and it couldn't be turned off. The staff just suggested covering it which was impractical so we had to put up with it and no apologies were made by staff.
This is my favourite hotel to stay when on business in this area.
Lovely hotel, loads of parking, such friendly staff - every staff member we met in the evening and at breakfast was friendly and professional - good choice of food from the bar or restaurant at reasonable prices, also good cooked breakfast. Would certainly stay again if needed a bed in the area. Ours was an overnight stay whilst moving home. Can certainly recommend the George Albert Hotel.
Excellent value for money and good stop off for those looking to catch Weymouth ferry
Quality and value of meals can be bettered elsewhere
Rooms and staff and everything Spot on
The hotel is spotlessly clean, staff were great, location is great. We love clay target shooting and go karting, so this was the perfect couple of days away!!
Breakfast not served until 8am - to late
Noisy room. Expensive tray charge for room service. Dirty toilet
Convenient for getting the ferry from Weymouth, rooms lovely and food always good
From the moment we arrived the staff looked after us. In the reception and restaurants. Food was very good from the "full english" from snacks or al a carte. Wish we had had time to try the clay pigeon shoot.
We did find the hotel rather too warm that and my husbands snoring affected my sleep. He didn't hav a problem.
Excellent value.Pleasanf and accommodating staff.
Everything. Very courteous Staff. We were made welcome and everywhere was comfortable.
Using the Shower made the Bathroom rather hot and airless, but the Bathroom decor was excellent and very clean.
Restaurant food and Full English was great quality and the staff service excellent. The breakfast was the best I have had in any hotel! Rooms were comfortable, smart and modern. Bathroom was spacious, modern with a good look and decent shower.
The mattress was a little hard
Very good food and excellent service.
A bit isolated.
The room was comfortable and the food was good.
There was a very strong self closing spring on the bathroom door which we felt was totally unnecessary and made it difficult for the elderly ones in our party to use the bathroom. One evening there was a function on which meant we were totally ignored in the bar area.
The staff were very pleasant Hotel was easy to find with plenty of parking.
Outside my room was an ice making machine which made a fair noise every time a new set of blocks dropped. Apart from that room was quiet.
Ease of getting there well sign posted staff very helpfull , rooms very nice :) good size room very clean comfy, felt safe and as a solo traveler that was very important .
Clean and comfortable and the staff really helpful and pleasant.
WiFi was poor in the room, but it was fixed and so better on the second night. Environment immediately around the hotel rather ugly!
A bit more variety on the menu would be nice.
We picked this hotel due to the reviews we had seen and were not let down. The hotel is in a great location for exploring Dorchester and Weymouth and also allows easy access to the rest of the county. The room was modern and exceptionally clean, lovely bathroom and comfortable bed. The staff were always pleasant and breakfast each day catered for most tastes. We were very impressed with the George Albert and it is certainly good value for money.
rooms, entrance hall & staff all superb.
Wifi was so slow as to be unusable & google detected as suspicious signin but unable to reset as too slow Download speed 3.94MBS upload 0.01 to zero.
