very nice surrounding, friendly people, good food
We were absolutely satiesfied with everything.
food very good, great views from room.
bathroom shower had hairs in tray, not free wifi, needs modernising.
Beautiful location Great welcome from Karen and Rob Excellent food
Room very small and furniture basic, home made wardrobe and sadly no view from high window. Shower did not work Pillows flat and need replacing. Generally needs updating
One of the best parts was the friendliness of the staff. They provided such a welcoming atmosphere and in a homely setting. The views were also stunning, and we were provided a lovely garden area to watch it all within. A fantastic choice of hotel.
The only thing was that it was a bit hot in the room at night, and I we felt the lack of a cooling system. Other than that it was very comfortable and enjoyable!
whats not to like, views, food excellent, Karen and staff made you very welcome..
Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely garden and view from the restaurant.
The front bar seemed a bit unwelcoming on first arrival but was better when we returned later.
Friendly and welcoming. Good breakfast and flexible with timings for an early start – offered a bacon roll to take away if we wanted it. Not particularly comfortable and of course very hot this week. Dinner menu very limited and 1970s, but some items eg the curry were excellent Happy to go back next year Phil
Pictures don't do justice to the great view of uplands and wooded valleys, there's even a waterfall at the bottom of the garden. Exceptionally helpful staff and owners, a relaxing atmosphere, elegant traditional decor and good food make this ideal for a country weekend
The way the hotel was being improved, albeit, as cash allowed. A family run concern, all friendly. Great location.
very friendly staff and good central location. Food was great value .
rooms a little tired but ok for a few nights
comfortable with lovely views from bedroom window. Good food.
shower a bit small window didnt close in room 5
The meals were fantastic and the rooms very comfortable.
No signal in the area however there is wifi available to customers at a small fee.
Friendly informal atmosphere, great beer and steak and chips in the bar. Lovely garden overlooking gorge and falls on Afon Rheidol. Comfortable and clean bedroom and shower room.Would definitely stay there again.
Don't like the idea of paying (although it's only a quid !) for Wifi.
Staff were friendly, food excellent value and generous portions, view at rear of hotel stunning with red kites flying around,
The staff and food were very good.
The shower cubicle was to small I couldn't bend down to wash my feet I had to open the door. I was charged to use my credit card and I did not like that, I won't be back.
excellent location and views from bedroom and dining area were spectacular. very helpful staff and very good food
Friendly staff, good honest food, small pub attached which was sociable but not noisy
They needed to tidy up and get rid of some of the clutter.
The staff are very friendly and really do their best to make you feel at home. The surroundings are beautiful and several walking guides are provided. Meals are good. Close to Aberystwyth and Devil's Bridge.
The hotel is located right next to a fairly busy road. The overall decor looks a bit dated and could do with some updating. The bed was not great - too soft.
The staff were very friendly and determined to make it a good stay. Breakfast was excellent
The bar was a bit spartan
the location of the hotel was perfect for touring west wales, the food was out of this world and the staff were very welcoming and we could not have asked for more, fantastic, we shall be back.
as a six foot plus man the mirror in the bathroom was to low.
A friendly, warm hotel with good food and drink.
Leaving after 2 days.
Great place to stay only thing would have liked another bar near by just for change But that's no fault of GB HOTEL
We had en-suite B+B for £60 in a good sized room. Excellent corner room with views over the gorge and hills beyond. Excellent value for money.
The food was good and we were welcomed into the bar. The hotel was quiet despite its main road location.
The shower room in our twin room was confined.
