I found the staff very helpful and friendly, the hotel is well placed and is in walking distance of most of the shops and attractions. |

Very comfortable,central, and staff were very attentive and efficient overall most favourable and would recommend. A downside that is probably beyond your control is the parking and the chages are horrific. |

The hotel has a good central location within walking distance of the railway station and bus stops nearby. The decor has a scottish feel and the beds are comfortable. The room and bed were much smaller than on our previous visit. The room was noisy being at the front of the hotel and also too warm at night. I would have liked a teapot on my table at breakfast. |

Location is very conveniant, breakfast was very good, staff were helpful, The bed was too soft, parking was a long way from the hotel and expensive. |

Service, staff, welcome champagne, central location, food, room and bed size, room facilities. The room had no air conditioning and was stifling during the night, with both of us having a poor sleep. It was the only thing that was wrong, but it did put a dampner on the weekend. |

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was quiet, clean and had a nice little view. Teh breakfast included in the room was extensive and delicious |

Close to all shopping center, restaurant, family entertainment area, and easy access to public transportation. Bed mattress is comfort. The bath shower water pressure is very low. No shower cap provided and no mini fridge. However overall it is an excellent hotel. |

Perfect central location for visit to Edinburgh. Air conditioning was essential in 25 degree heat although I know not all rooms had this facility. Parking! |
