Close to centre of Norwich and a comfy bed! The paintwork needed abit of touching up/ wiping down and parking was a pain. There was a constant stream of water throughout the night ....like the sound of an overflow, but it wasn't raining!

VEry clean and comfortable. Food in restaurant was excellent. The advertised free wifi did not work in our room. The hotel has been black listed by our bank so our credit cards were declined and our bank blocked all further use of them. We spent over an hour on the phone to Australia trying to gain access to funds to continue our holiday.

Helpful and pleasant staff.Food excellent.Well placed for visiting Norwich and suurrounding areas. Good bus services. The carpet in the cottage room was very grubby and the tv received just 3 stations . The cover over the electric fire needs hooking o the wall as it fell over easily.Previous visits were in the main hotel where the rooms were excellent. It was very full on this occasion.

We only stayed for one night. the room was very comfortable and we both slept well. After we checked out we were made to feel welcome to stay in the bar area for an hour as we had to wait that time for our next appointment.

The staff at reception and in the restaurant/ bar were very welcoming and professional. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The Full English Breakfast was excellent. Old Analogue tv with 5 channels in the room. I haven't seen one of those for a long time!

Cheap-ish and near city centre, also a good suburban area. The entire hotel The entire hotel is lit by energy saving bulbs which make the whole place seem dingy. This may be government policy but at least one good reading light should be in every bedroom.

The hotel was very easy to find. The food was absolutely amazing. The best we had in England! Friendly staff. The room was clean in every corner even the walls of the toilet! An absolute great deal for the price. We often pay double for much worse!

Staff were pleasant and helpful ,with out sounding ' too trained.' There was an informal ,but organised ambience to the hotel. The room was clean ,comfortable.reasonably maintained and quite good value relative to uk hotel accomodation costs. Part of the main course and the dessert of the evening meal ,whilst not unsatisfactory ,were rather ordinary in quality and considered overpriced.

Reasonably convenient to walk into Norwich city centre. Easy to find and good car parking facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pleasant bar atmosphere and reasonably priced good food in the bistro. Unfortunately the central heating seized up in our room and we needed to move to an alternative room at the end of our first evening in the hotel and there the heating was on permanent full blast! Also the cleaners were unaware that we had changed rooms (despite checking with reception that they had been told) and our new room was not cleaned on our second day! The hotel has a "tired" feel about it especially in the corridors with sad carpeting.

The room was very clean and tidy, the bar staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice and of good value for money. The night receptionist was very rude and abrupt, she didn't have any time for us and I know we wernt the only customers who wernt happy with her attitude!

Clean comfortable room with all we needed for a one night stay. I was kept awake by a very noisy boiler or air conditioning machine. I can usually sleep through some noise but this was considerable and it is the worst night I have had in a long time

Staff were helpful, willing, always courteous. Hotel was fairly central for Norwich and had easy access to environs. The food was excellent and we appreciated the flexibility allowed with the menu. It provided good value. We found the bedroom and bathroom overhot and were unable to turn down the radiator in the bathroom. Water continuously running through radiator in bedroom made it difficult to sleep.

Bar area nice. The room was tiny, which is ok, but it was in dire need of a makeover. There were cracks, chips, peels of wallpaper and it was very unpleasant to look at. The bathroom was from the 50's! There was a Xmas party right in front of my bedroom, so little sleep until the early hours.
