staff were friendly enough on checking in at 15.00 we were allocated a room from the recpionist,which when we opened the door,the room had not been cleaned for 2 days,we saw the slip from the previous people who stayed at the hotel,we weny back to the recptionist,who upgaded us to the garden house,but yet again when we got to the room,again it had not been made up for 3 days,we had to wait in the bar while the room was made up,no apology,or free drink from the manager,great start to my husband's birthday.At breakfast we had to use cutkery which was laid at other tables,because there was limited cutlery on our table |

The staff were rushed off their feet but still extremely pleasant. The floorboards were a bit rickety on the corridors and the rooms a bit tired. The food in the restaurant was good too. It was only a one night stay but a very pleasant stay and very close to Norwich city centre. Scruffy paintwork on doors and a little bit noisy. |

Receptionist pleasant Limited car parking, had to park in disabled place. Room smelled musty. Bed was old and uncomfortable. Bar staff slow and inexperienced, spent more time chatting to each other. |

The staff were excellent and the food was good. All queries were answered quickly and efficiently and services delivered promptly. The rooms could do with some modernisation. Some of the furnishings were quite threadbare and the bathroom could certainly do with an update! |

Good tea making facilities in the room,good food and wine in the restaurant at reasonable prices.very clean hotel,nice location. The shower in the annex we stayed in had hardly enough water pressure to rinse hair let alone have a shower. |

Location - able to walk into Norwich shopping centre plus off the main road so less traffic noise than other BW hotel in the same road. Also familiarity as have stayed here before and food excellent. One of the bedside lights not working and not repaired despite notification to reception. (Probably required more than a change of light bulb). Fortunately it was not a great problem as my husband does not read in bed. |

we liked the unusual bedroom we stayed in (211) with its magnificent bathroom and the views across the rooftops. Ran out of Adnam's beer - apart from that, fine. |

Comfortable bed,helpful staff; good breakfast,ample car parking The room had been drenched in air freshener - this causes migrane and is wholly unnecessary; get rid of all artificial chemical cleaners |

Nice welcome. Room small but well organised. Bathroom spotless. Bed comfortable - nice white cotton duvet, etc. Staff friendly. Breakfast delicious. Very efficient and well managed hotel. Much appreciated. |

We were only there one night to sleep after a birthday do locally.Not there long enough to judge. Good breakfast choice Our room was small and although adequate for a short stay I would probably have found it rather trying for a longer period. |

Впечатление в целом неоднозначное. С одной стороны, отель в целом неплохой, есть бесплатный инет, очень понравился ресторан и бар. С другой стороны, номер показался слишком мрачным и плохо убранным. Кофейный пакетиков в традиционном для британских отелей чайном наборе был уже использован. Тщательнее убирать комнаты. |
