Good choice of freshly prepared meals on the menu Lack of a comfy lounge/sitting area away from the eating area for hotel guests to use.

the locations in Swaffan was handy. Dont think it deserves the 3 stars .We changed room as the first had no shower at all and smelt damp. W e were moved to a smaller twin room with broken shower.the receptionist was not really at all sympathetic but just said we had come at a busy time!!it was certainly busy and the dining room for breakfast was too small for all the guests . the lovely young lady in the dining room was rushed of her feet and having trouble coping with all the orders. Food is plentiful and basic. Wireless not throughout hotel have to ask to get router reset to your area!Been in loads of hotels 3 star and not sure why this one had 3 it was an ok 2 star.On checking out not asked if enjoyed stay!!Poor service ,no apology for poor facilites. Beware, ask for good working shower and if any room has airconditioning, we didnt find any!

A traditional coaching inn with well appointed but individual rooms. The bedroom was especially large with a King size bed. The food in the restaurant was locally sourced and very good, as well as being reasonably priced. An excellent hotel to tour Norfolk. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend as an ideal hotel for a few days break.

Very friendly staff who went out of their way to make sure that I had everything that I needed. Only little irritating things - eg I couldn't get the wifi to work in my room so I had to take my laptop down to the public area to use it (but the staff were very concerned and did try to sort this out for me) - and my bedroom window couldn't be opened (for fresh air at night) - and I didn't let them know.

Unfortunately, my room was right next to the bins. The night porter deceided he was going to empty the hotel bins at 6am and proceeded to do so for the next hour. This spoilt what would otherwise have been a good visit.

Convenient location at which to break a journey. Breakfast was a bit of a disaster: the inexperienced chef was not familiar with cooking haddock, and was unable to identify the fish in the hotel's cold store. There was a 35 minute delay before the waitress broke the bad news - not good ! Give the hotel its due, it agreed to forego any charge for breakfast.
