The staff are friendly and the hotel was clean and warm and i enjoyed my food. I didn't like the pool it was cold and though not the fault of the hotel I was woken up at 4am and then again at 5am from a group of young men drunk and being very noisy.

Loved the spa, and kingsize plus bed. Also that towels were provided for the pool. The power showers in bed room was great. All the staff were friendly. The receptionist on duty on Saturday 16th March, was so helpful, printing out directions and maps for Herrington park. Our satnav didn`t pick up the postcode, as there was an error on the form I was given. Thankfully, she came to the rescue and I got to my race on time. You can tell her I came 3rd vet 50 in the British Masters Cross Country Championships.Fingers crossed, I`ll get selected for the vet 50 England team, to run an International in Wales.Hopefully, you have branches of your hotel there. The rooms were very comfortable, my kids age 12 and 16 loved the pool and spa.As I booked in advanced, it was great value for money. Really loved the breakfast Thank you all for a lovely stay.. I would have liked the pool to have been slightly warmer. There was only one bath towel in our double room, and 3 pillows for 2 adults. I know I could have asked for more, but didn`t get round to it. Service although excellent in the restaurant was quite slow. But overall a very enjoyable trip and we would rebook again.

There is a small gym, with a small pool and jacuzzi, so it was great to get a quick work-out in. My boys like access to the pool. The staff are really nice as well. I stayed in a room next to a group of golfers who came back from the bar at 1pm waking me up for an hour, and then were back up at 7:30am....not the quietest! Breakfast is very overpriced, no discount for children.

Friendly staff, very clean, spacious room and decent leisure facilities. Bed was rather uncomfortable, could do with replacing. Long trek to your room if you get put along the further side of the hotel and only one way in and out!

1. Location for our visit. 1. No mini bar in room 2. High cost of wine that was totally undrinkable!!!! 3. Poor showing of festive decorations (No idea or a complete lack of enthuasium in putting them up) 4. No breakfast sauce (HP)available as run out!! 5. Was not told of tray charge (£5.00) of bringing two soft drinks to room (see point 1) 6. Breakfast tea really weak and I asked for another tea bag same pot of was returned without tea bag I then took to bringing teabag from room to breakfast to make my tea drinkable, 7. Standard has dropped since last visit. 8. I am not one to whinge but you have to be told, in fact for the future I think I/we will book Premier Inns. A completly souless hotel made by the fact of no visible reception upon arrival.

Having used this hotel for many years we will not be returning again as this is the second time we have had appalling service from the restaurant and total indifference to our complaints from the duty manager and reception staff alike. What a shame.

Comfortable rooms and excellent customer service. Being frightened out of bed by a false smoke alarm at 7:00 am on a Saturday morning because a guest forgot to close the bathroom door while in use. The hotel could probably addressing the sensitive nature of their smoke alarms.

Nice big bed, friendly staff on reception The noise from the kitchen extractor fan, right outside of my bedroom window, which the kitchen staff advised me, wasn't being used but wouldn't turn off, very noisy and irritating!! I'd recommend staying here but never in room 211

Room decor was very tired. Directly underneath the sign in our room reminding us it was non-smoking was a chair with a large cigarette burn in the seat.

The hotel is well located , not too near the motorway to be noisy .The rooms had been refurbished with excellent new bathrooms and showers .Self service breakfasts good value for money and the staff friendly , polite and attentive . I will use this hotel again . Despite my fears of noise from the many wedding parties over this weekend , this did not materialise .

The hotel was very near where we wanted to be and the price was excellent - we booked last minute. To be fair we only slept there and so cannot comment on the food or facilities.
