We had a fabulous time here, all staff were great, room was beautiful, clean and tidyhad the best nights sleep. Really great friendly and welcoming hotel. Breakfast was all you could ever want, we even stayed for roast dinner, which was wonderful. Will be going back very soon, can't wait
Friendly, helpful staff, good-sized room and good location. Decent trad English breakfast.
Decor a bit tired.
Good food, very reasonably priced. Great breakfast. Courteous and polite staff throughout.
Hotel was excellent
Could do with a new mattress room 38
A good location, with easy off street parking. The room was clean but very basic.
I was disappointed when we were shown to our room and found that there was no soap in the bathroom. When I called reception I was told they had run out and I could use shampoo or shower gel. I complained and eventually got soap but no apology. At breakfast the hotel states there is an option of hot and cold food. The hot option consisted of mushrooms, cold beans and bacon. I was told that they had run out of everything else (this was at 9 and breakfast ran until 10.). Two rather disappointing events.
Loved the spa lovely breakfast comfortable large room catered for disabled people friendly staff we love this hotel it is our favourite stayed 7 times.Everything near to hand lovely high street will definitely stay again in the future.
The only thing I think is need softer pillows.
Good room size. Night porter friendly. Struggling to find other positive things to say!
No soap in dirty bathroom. Only two towels for 3 people. Made to feel a nuisance when asked for these at reception. Old debris on bedroom floor. Rusty shower pole. Stained toilet bowl. Not offered toast at breakfast. No natural yoghurt. Unfriendly waiting staff. Spa needs upgrade - water cold. Changing rooms shabby as was rest of the hotel. It had a very unloved, uncared for feel. No free WIFI in room. Reception staff had no idea where the nearest police station was - very unhelpful. Very disappointed with our special birthday stay. Definitely not to be recommended.
I will come back again Good feel about the Hotel
There were no fans available in the room. Room 44A is small and very hot
Good location and good sized room
Room very dated and overdue for refurbishment.
staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable and the restaurant good value for money
I loved my room which was spacious, airy and clean. All the staff were helpful and friendly. Loved the pool/spa area. that was like a mini break for me. And meals were good too.
Very noisy in room. Stay at the front above entranceabdcouldhear people below outside smoking. Very bad nights sleep. Glad we weren't staying two nights
Location good. Building and grounds delightful. Spa good.
Beds lumpy & uncomfortable. Rooms in need of redecoration. Staff not very communicative.
Good location, friendly, comfortable hotel. We were there for a wedding, and it was a perfect place to stay over after the reception
Nice hotel with good facilities
The staff could be more welcoming and friendly especially the breakfast staff
The breakfast was very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The garden was lovely and we enjoyed sitting outside in the evening
The spa changing rooms are quite tired so could use some refurbishment although the swimming pool was nice although a bit cold
Room was very old and tired. Not very clean as I moved the TV and found crumbs and a hairclip. There was an almost emptied shower gel left in the shower, there were towels dumped in the corner of the bathroom, windows were rattling so much with only a breeze I had to stuff paper between the frames. I thought it was very expensive and was not worth the money
Very helpful staff and despite a hiccup on the first night with a noisy group of students staying I would recommend the hotel. The staff were sympathetic to the disruption and offered breakfast in the room the following morning; they also discounted the bill. Lovely large room at the front of the hotel, very comfortable bed and excellent, reasonable bar meal. The 2nd night was quiet and very relaxing!
The facilities, pool, gym and grounds, were great. The quality of the room was good, as was the breakfast. A great location for exploring nearby villages and countryside and very convenient for Gatwick airport departures and car rental drop off. Haslemere is a lovely village.
Nothing. A great value for money spot to stay.
Very run down and bathroom needed attention. Very stuffy smell in the room despite the window being left open for my arrival.
So much noise from wedding guests screeching all night in the corridor
Good hotel in a nice location. Friendly and helpful staff.
Disappointed to be told our 9 year old grandson could not use the pool after 5pm. The restaurant menu did not cater for children. Simple to prepare foods like fishfingers or chicken nuggets not available.
All staff were really friendly, and helpful. Could do with a little refurbishment in places. But overall ok. Had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent.
