Everything. The location was excellent. The rooms very clean. We got there early but was allowed to book in and we were showed to our room straight away. Also this hotel offers free parking which is a bonus in York.

was near to the center of york and all attractions, staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay there again if I came back to York

Not really a dislike but no towel rail in the bathroom

Staff were very pleasant and helpful and made the stay as relaxing for us as possible. The family room we stayed in was comfortable and pleasantly decorated.

The doors in the room and around the house creaked and needed some oil. A bit of noise outside in the evening due to constant traffic from the main road.

There was a musty smell especially for Room 16 ( at the back ) . Maybe because the windows cant be opened ?

The location is great, easy to reach city center and train station. The triple room I stayed is nice, clean and cosy. The breakfast was very great, although It charged 6 pound per person per night.

Friendly staff who seemed to keep themselves to themselves, gorgeous big bath in the family room's bathroom, and clean, comfortable beds. Very close to the city centre with everything you need for a short stay in York.

Parts of Georgian House look a bit run down. Saying that, staff said that they have been updating it and it looks to be in the middle of having some building work done. The car park was quite small and at the time we visited had a pile of tiles and rubble in it along with the builder's van, so not a lot of space, but we managed to park for the night. Cups had tea stains in them which washed off easily.

It was very close to the city centre . also a stones through from the minster and shambles, plenty of bars and live music ,

The place is a bit run down to be honest. Itwas a shame because we used this place as our honeymoon 38 years ago . maybe its a siqn of the times, the staff were frendly and made us welcome , like I said its worth a trip as its so close to ameneties . also has parkin round the back

I liked the vicinity to the Castle, University and Shops.

The position of Georgian House was excellent and staff were lovely.

Bed sloped as did the bedside tables, it was very uncomfortable and not much sleep was had due to the bed and mattress being poor. The room was very hot at night and we opened the window (which I could not reach) but the noise from the street and sirens to the nearby hospital kept us awake too.

The closeness to York Minster as we were attending a wedding at The Treasurer's House.

The complete lack of cleanliness. Dirty and stained carpet in our room. No clean cups after having used them for coffee. Original mattress on bed was disgusting and unable to unpack as nowhere clean to put our clothes. Very disappointing.

We stayed for 2 nights and the service and friendliness of the staff was excellent. The room was very clean and had all the facilities you would expect.
